The Goverment of India is planning to increase the number of projects under the National Ropeways Development Programme's 'Parvatmala Pariyojana', with more than 200 projects worth Rs 1.25 lakh crore in the pipeline in the next five years.

Rope probably more appropite in areas with high elevation .Esoecialilly msny pla es in.Uttatakhand homachal J&K and northeast like arunachal or other states there are many places blessed witj nayural bauties but cannot be reach by common tourists due to difficulties of constructing roads due to steep gradient and advetse weather conditions like frequent rain or snows and for common tourist it is not posdibe to make a treak with more tha a moderate dofficulties..So if this beutiful hilly places or village can be joined though Rope wys then these isolated village or places can be developed as tourist destinations.
