    15x15cm smooth paper
    Masking Tape (for the border) - optional
    Any scrap paper (for creating the horizon line)
    Craft knife or sieve
    Kneadable eraser or regular eraser
    Daler Rowney Perfix Colourless Fixative (for pastels)
    Sakura Pigma Micron pen
    White gel pen
    Sakura Semi-hard pastels:
    Sky:
    089 Pale blue
    090 Cerulean blue
    Sea:
    111 Sky blue
    095 Viridian
    090 Cerulean blue
    Sand:
    058 Yellow Ochre
    139 Yellow gray
    144 Mars orange

    Thank you for this. As someone who questions my own ability to create visual art since young, im proud of what my hands can achieve while following this tutorial. One question: how can I stop my masking tape from tearing my paper when i take it off?

      I'm glad you enjoyed this! Yes I believe art is a skill that anyone can pick up with practice 😉 On the masking tape, you can try to tear it off slowly. Another way is to stick the masking tape onto some fabric (like your clothes) one or two times before sticking onto the paper, this makes it less sticky and hopefully won't tear the paper so much when you take it off. If it still tears, it's ok too, it can actually make quite a cool ripped paper effect too! 😊
