Great question! 99% of sticks already do come with grip right off the shelf, but that’s just enough grip for your bottom hand to slide up and down, but grippy enough to really grab the stick when shooting. Players put tape or grip tape up at the top for added grip cause we almost never move our top hand away from the top of the stick. So we basically want our top hand stuck to the top of the stick and feel really connected. I’d say 90% of the players want that sticky/locked in feeling for the top hand.
Great vid boss. Very informative
Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback
Great vid!
Thanks Trev!
Question from a complete noob about hockey. Why do hockey sticks need grip tape? Do they not have a good grip right off the rack?
Love the jersey
💪
Are you really using your nice sticks on the concrete
Nah, I've got a wraparound on my ice sticks, and the others are abs blade
