The people he meets have awesome powers, and so does he. This song is about Wolfram, an ex-prince who in the third episode ends up engaged to Yuuri, the main character, and his brother, Conrad(Conrart). it's been 5 years since you asked, so you probably don't care, but it's my all time favorite anime and I highly recommend it.
