Carlisle >>>>>
I love it when hawas gets mention. I’m excited to wear it in the summer again. It is affordable.. great list Omar
Hawas is Okay with rainy n humidity season.?
@@ramkhedkar2878 yea you can wear it whenever you like, but summer is the best time to wear it
Rasasi Hawas is in the high-end designer fragrance. Can't find it anywhere under £60 in the UK. £72.30 on Notino at the moment 😭
Omar, I'm with you on Hawas, Cedrat Boise Intense and Detour Noir but I'd have to add Alexandria Hafez 1984 as well. I think its mind blowing for the price!
Carlisle has been my winter signature for 1.5 years and im only 18 hahah. Love this fragrance
Lalique Encre Noir EDT ->
YSL Bleu Electrique EDT ->
Terre D'Hermes Parfum ->
Comme de Garcons Floriental ->
Xerjoff Naxos
- My 5 suggestions. Really nice vid, Omar.
I have 10 of Aaron’s fragrances. Love every single one. For me, Guapo, Hard Candy, Tabac in that order. Great video Omar
How is the guapo performance? Definitely looking to get that one soon.
Oh, perhaps you forgot to mention our good old friend Moschino Toy Boy 🐻🌹🍐. Good value for money, 10/10 and a niche like fragrance at an affordable price! (Although not everyone seems to like this scent as much as I do). So many honorable mentions.......
I actually bought Toyboy, but after a month, the smell changed substantially...So I used it as home freshener...
Toy boy is 7 out of 10 imo. It has a gorgeous dry down, but its opening is a lil bit challenging, smells kinds synthetic and just weird. Never had another perfume so closely resemble that black pepper feeling.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like PDM CARLISLE and I give it a 10 out of 10 in my opinion and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
First things that came to my mind:
1. The Tux / Encre Noir
2. Paula's Ibiza
3. Chergui
4. Baraonda
5. Jubilation
What's better tux or encre noir?
@@Natediaaz209 I love Encre Noir more but I don't know about newest formulations, some people complain about performance
For 20-30 pounds? Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man...
complement beast, lasts all day, beautiful notes...
that gives me room at the higher end for something besides Cedrat Boise
40 Pounds? Rasasi Hawas is a good choice, but I would rather spend my fragrance budget on Prada L'homme
60 Pounds? Why go niche at that price range for a DNA that is easily attainable at lower cost?
Find your favorite Armani, Chanel, Dior or even Dolce & Gabanna.
Over 80 Pounds (Niche) is past my interest/cost level, but I did buy Molecule 01 + Mandarin, and it's an anywhere/anytime fragrance.
Thanks, Omar, for helping me think through my choices.
Armani tres nuit masterpiece fragrance for 20$
@@trumpameri1638 it really is a masterpiece... the violet is striking for a cheapie
I am 30 years old male Dentist. I want to buy new fragrance for daily use. Can you recommend me something ?
I got Hugo Boss Bottled Unlimited, Mont Blanc Legend EDT, Hugo Boss Deep Blue, Polo Red EDT, Zara Uomo, Zara Silver, Polo Ralph Lauren (Green Bottle)
What do you guy recommend for me ?
To my 37 year old nose Rasasi Hawas smells like cheap, ultra synthetic, "discount bin" fragrances from the late 90's/early 2000's. It might be good for younger guys who didn't live through that time but I'd steer clear if you're anywhere near my age. It does have absolute beast mode performance though so the value is certainly there (if you're happy to smell like it).
I know what you're saying. I do. But there's a trick to it.
I'm definitely _not_ a young guy, but 5 sprays, tops (2 of them on your shirt), is the sweet spot with this otherwise cloying mess. The less I use, the more people like this stuff. And people *really* like it.
I am 38 and i like it a lot just bought it a couple of months ago but its really nice
Finally someone said it
I'm 36 and about to buy it, hoping I don't have the same experience with it. From all the reviews I've read and watched, it seems 95% of people love it.
Omar, what do you think to do a video about yourself, sort of off topic type of a content but still something interesting in order to know you more. I've heard you're a doctor, right? (I'm a doctor too lol).. so it would be interesting to know your daily routine or maybe something about your lifestyle... of course only if you want.
Ah.. last but not least: why did you cut the iconic quote "CLASS IS IN SESSION"?? I want it back!
I used to have cedrat boise intense, too animalic for me. Bought it for 80 bucks and sold it for 85 bucks
I like the OG better to
😎 Omar,
Good stuff 👍…..
Looking 👓 forward to your next release……
Cheers 🍻 from the desert 🌵…….
I purchased Catlisle last year because of your recommendatio. It's a total banger!
Hawas is ☢️ its so nice and stands out over the generic designer fragrances
1. Armani eau pour homme
2. Moustache rochas
3. Ch men prive
4. D and g pour homme Italian version
5. Jubilaton xxv
Most reviewers should take you notes, acumen, and presentation of what can come across as trivial content and plagiarize it. You are the too of the mountain in this real my friend. Thanks for not being pretentious and presenting your material succinctly. Bravo. I’m a fan.
Love carlisle I have a bunch of pdm. I got my first initio last week. Rehab love it man have you tried it yet
Omar can you review Afnan Turathi Blue?
what an amazing useful vid Omar, thank you 😄 keep it up sir you are awesome !
Wonderful choices, Omar! But a question for you: Which one would you pick between Detour Noir vs L'aventure? TIA
If he's not gonna answer that 😂 I will. Detour Noir is the cheaper one of the two, and as he said, smells like PDM Layton, while L'Aventure smells like Creed Aventus. Both do a very good job of duping their expensive counterparts and have practically the same longevity/projection. My advice would be to just try the two and see which one is more suitable for you, based on your personality and how you intend to wear the fragrance.
Hearing a lot of people saying that the recent Hawas batches are lacking performance. Can any of you guys confirm or deny?
Cheap - Milestone
Mid - Hawas
High designer - Ombre Leather
Lower Niche - Aventus Cologne
Higher Niche - Reflection 45
Eagerly waiting for Mr. Romantic 😀
Carlisle is great but overpriced when Mancera Red Tobacco exists. The irony is that Red Tobacco is a more polarising powerful niche cousin of it.I say polarising but it's really not its just very busy in terms of notes in the first 15mins(which i love as its complex)after that it's just a warm smoked dark fruity shisha scent whilst eating a spiced booze infused apple/pear pie covered in chocolate custard gorgeous stuff.
I think you’ll either prefer one or the other. I also prefer Red Tobacco myself, but I can’t deny that to my nose Carlisle is smoother, better blended and more mass appealing. I see why some people would probably prefer Carlisle.
@@SirSillageSniffington I also like Red Tobacco better and i have both but both are great but it not like a fragrance most girls would love especially somebody not in to fragrance wouldnt understand it you nose have to develop over time to appreciate fragrance like that.. most normal girl just like fresh and sweet or a sweet fragrance like Layton or something easy to like and understand
Hard candy or hard candy elixir?
Please answer @schoolofscent
Have you ever tried the essence vault? do you think their fragrances are a good way to see if you will like a certain designer/niche fragrance?
I messed around and took a person’s advice on another channel about Carlisle. I initially went to watch a review on Mancera Red Tobacco which I love so much. He said Carlisle was better but Mancera wipes it out completely. There is a few notes missing in the Mancera though but I’d say 90-95% accurate. For a cheaper price. Mancera is stronger and longer lasting. But pleaseeeeeee no more than two sprays of the red tobacco or ppl will hate you. Parfum De Marly Carlisle is the softer one
Omar just like Detour noir there's TAFAKHAR from Ard Al Zaafaran a very good or you can say better clone of PDM Carlisle try it out & let us know ...
The best frag under £20 is "mauboussin Histoire..". Even Sebastian "the perfume guy" made a big deal about it
What's it like? Does it share some similarities with other perfumes?
thank you for always inspiring... i would like your comment on sospiro basso, and also clive christian papyrus and blonde amber..
I have a question if you get a chance to respond I would greatly appreciate it. First thank you for your awesome work. My question my wife likes kilians angel share and how it smells on me. Do you have any suggestions of similar DNA to that fragrance?
When are the shipment of the Mr.Romantic going out 🤔
How long does Rasasi Hawas last and whats the projection like?
Ive seen some people stating its not nearly as strong projecting as it used to be
For me it's almost too strong and long-lasting. 10 hours later it's still a full on assault of my olfactory senses.
It’s weaker than before but it’s still strong. It’s just that the old batches would last from morning until night until you shower or days on clothes
@@sacuW9ep what would u rate projection out of 10 in strength?
@@JohnWolf926 what would u rate out of 10 in projection/sillage
@@jattytakeover7099 I have an older batch so it still projects like crazy, can’t do more than a few sprays to wear at work because it fills an office
I see Cedrat Boise at £70 for the 120mL
Best for 20 must be ARMAF tres nuit masterpiece fragrance for that money
Where are you guys getting The Tux for the original price? I can’t find it right now
can't go wrong with rasasi hawas
Hawas was the only one I agreed with
Bro I brought some perfumes on your recommendation. I got detour noir and l'aventure.
I was a bit p*ssed I didn't get l'aventure intense but overall its a decent perfume.
I also brought al haramain Knight and for some reason, I hate the smell. Is it really a close clone of green Irish tweed? Coz to me it smelt foul/rancid
Cheap = Black Panther
Mid = Code Parfum
High end = Halcyon
Expensive = Reflection 45
That reflection 45 extrait is ultra expensive
Armani code parfum is unstoppable force 💪💪💪
@@trumpameri1638 yeah I only have a 10ml decant. Far too expensive for a full bottle
@@MRswavgav try creed royal oud great fragrance for summer
Hawas never goes away. It's been mentioned on every YT channel ad nauseum for going on 5+ years now. I never tried it, but I've tried several of the Invictus clones and generally liked them. I always looked at Hawas as redundant for me, especially at $45+. Now, I'm seriously considering spending the money on it, and really hoping it's better than everything else (looking at you: Invictus Aqua, MB Legend Spirit, Armaf Aura, Zara Man Seoul, etc, etc...).
I wish i could find rasasi hawas for an affordable price shipped from an EU country.
would cedrat boisé be fresher for the summer? cedrat boisé intense is not that fresh right?
You can wear the Intense all year round imo, just go easy on the sprays in summer
What do you think about Bvlgari Aqva Marine?
In my top 5 hot weather freshies.
10 hours with détour noir? No not at all
On my skin i get 12+ hours
It lasts forever on me
Is it really similar to Layton? Or does it smell like the price? I think Layton is amazing, but I've seen mixed reviews on detour noir
@@DuSeun it isn’t a 100% clone. Maybe 85% similar. It has his own twist to it (witch is absolutely amazing) so imo it’s definitely worth the price. It’s pretty cheap too.. definitely get it
@@DuSeun to my nose, I think it is virtually identical. I’ve sprayed both Layton and detour noir on at the same time and I genuinely could not tell the difference after the first 15 minutes or so. I got the same performance too.
Looking for a signature/office/school scent, and thought about Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense but it is hard to get by and the price is 110 euros for a 120ml. Any other 10/10 option? There is a sale at my local store I want to utilize 😅
What sort of thing are you looking for? If you describe your taste, and how strong/long lasting you want the fragrance to be, we’ll be better able to give suggestions.
For instance Y Eau de Parfum or Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum are perfect signature any-time-any-place scents, but you might be looking for something different or more niche...?
@@SirSillageSniffington yes i dont want any best seller that all my mates got. I like Montblanc Explorer, LNDL Bleu Electrique, Dolce & Gabbana Intenso, Spicebomb. Looking for a fresh or clean scent with a little bit of substance. Live in a colder climate, where the summers dont really go above 23 degrees
@@erlendgars I would go for Prada lhomme. Office safe and smells very elegant
For the price of Intense Cedrat Boise which is a chemical mess from a brand with 0 name value (which means their fragrances are super overpriced) you can have Guerlains, Chanels, Hermes, Frapin, Jovoy, Parfum d'empire... And all the brands I mentioned propose fragrances way way better than Parfum de Marly too. And I wouldnt say PDM is luxury too. Their catalog is mostly clones and the price isnt what makes "luxury". They are not an historic prestigious fragrance brand, they are just "expensive", not "luxurious".
Lol gtfo here. Cedrat Boise is well liked and you know it
Mancera is definitely a chemical mess, I sampled instant crush and it was an instant headache.
It’s not for everyone doesn’t mean intense cedrat Boise isn’t class.
Are you going to finish the rest of the mancera house??
video starts at 2:15
Thanks im sick of listening to him yap about his fragrance at the start
If you can get hawas for less then £70 I would like to know where!😂
Naxos 🔥💯
Sir
Wich perfume very very very longlast super longlast far a summer
Orto Parisi Megamare or Nishane Hacivat
Which you suggest for sexy summer fragrance between acqua di gio parfum and rasasi hawas.? Thanks in advance.
Rasasi Hawas is not any more a cheapy
Where are you looking for pricing? Detour Noir £25 ... Hawas £75+'..... Cedrat Boise Intense £125. Nowhere near your price bandings...
Prices change over time
Weak justification. Most reviewers post links when they quote prices in videos. This suggests you're guessing, or posting videos long after they're made, as I've not seen anything like the prices you're quoting in the last 6mths.. Makes me lose faith in your accuracy as a reviewer.
Carlisle is the greatest fragrance ever created.
👍👍👍👍
I cant stand rasasi hawas. One of the worst blind buys.
Its too strong and a bit too middle easterny
Then what do you like? Hawas is great btw and 90% of girls would say the same so to baad you do like it
@Mixed pleasure thats ur problem rite there. U care too much about others. U care about whar girls like and you ask me a stranger what else is recommend. U dont know anythinf about you what you like.
I like ysl bleu electrique tho
@@stevejung6470 now you just putting words in my mouth and you assuming i dont know what i like… whats make you think you know these things about me? I know very well what i like i have been into fragrance since 2005 and been collecting since 2015. I am almost 40 so i think i know myself and what i like pretty damn well. I also have ysl blue electric but i like other fragrance from ysl better then blue electric and i also think Hawas is better but i have way over a 100 fragrance so i obviously like a lot of different stuff
Parfums de marley are so overpriced it's ridiculous basic designer level perfumery at very high prices you could get really good perfumery at that price house like nicolai or papillon soooo much better guess there sending you free bottles or you've just not tried good perfumery hopefully the later 😊
⛔️😐STOP LYING PEOPLE...AL HARAIMAN DETOUR NOIR it only lasts for 3 hours then it doesn't last at all
