• Where are you from? I live in Edinburgh and I'm half Australian, half British!

I actually really appreciate that you give 3 star ratings! It's really refreshing to find a booktuber that has what feels like a super fair star rating scale. It makes your channel feel really authentic, because you read things you love and read things you just enjoy at the same time!
I feel like reading as many books as I do (currently on #169 of the year) it's physically impossible for them all to be excellent reads. Can't appreciate amazing 5 star books without reading some bad books. Keeps it interesting for me 😅 Sometimes you just want a decent book that is enjoyable and easy to read haha

I feel the same way with short fantasy books, I always put them on the back of my TBR because I never think they are going to be great considering how short they are... BUT! BUT! Have you read "Mountains made of Glass"?

For a short book fantasy series, I recommended the Fae of Rewyth series by Emily Blackwood. It’s a completed series, 5 books long and the first few books are around 300 pages and there are a couple books that are closer to 350 pages 😄

With the bargainer series I genuinely feel like we read different books.. murder mystery? Him giving other people tattoos and her beads? Love you and the series but that’s kind of a poor description of the books:( This is such a good series I just feel like you gave it a bit of a disservice
I can’t even scratch the surface of what the books are about when I’m reading book 4 and everyone requests spoiler free descriptions. I’ve spoken about the bargainer series in about 3-5 different videos on my channel now (where I have gone in depth with them). I’m sorry if my brief description of the first book is disappointing to you but that is my personal opinion :) everyone takes different things away from different books, all opinions are different and all are equally valid. I can only speak from my personal experience and interpretation

The way I BINGED Metal Slinger after seeing your review on Goodreads 😂 Sooo good but the last 5% kind of bothered me. 🥲 I think you would LOVE The Legacy Series by Melissa K Roerich… SO good and bingeable and perfect dark fantasy romance.
The last 5% is unhinged but I ate it up!! It made me love it even more and I honestly can’t wait for book 2 😭 The legacy series is on my want to read list but I think I need to read her other series first? Thats what I’ve been told!!
@@emmyrosam you can def read The Lady of Darkness series before or after. There’s cameos and hints of the LoD series in the Legacy Series - however imo Legacy is soooo much better then the LoD series but both are great!! 🩷
