THis whole video the choreo, story line, lyrics is represent from them...

I know I'm late to this party, but if you think their recorded dancing and music is good, they are FIRE when performing live. They really do turn the awards show into a mini-concert complete with other kpop idols cheering along. Their recent performances at MAMA and GDA were enthralling.

for a newbie to seventeen i recommend watching their killing voice. its perfect for listening small snippets of a lot of their songs and its live so you can really feel their energy as a group. trust me, seventeen is one of the best best best thing in kpop. if you wanna know more about their personalities they have their own show called going seventeen where they are freaking funny all the time. i really enjoyed this. looking forward to more videos with seventeen ^^

to answer your question about the hooded back up dancers mostly if its for a performance video like this one they would cover the faces of the backup dancers so that the attention would be on the idols but sometimes their costumes may be connected to the song they are performing but also its for aesthetic

If I may add, their discography is highly diverse. They have WONDROUS TITLE TRACKS, but their SUB TRACKS ARE SUPERB too. And Woozi hates getting tied with trendy songs, so he goes with genres he would like to do, or he feels like doing, whether it's a trend or not. I respect him for that! He is passionate when it comes to music and will never disappoint.
If I may suggest, please check out the LONG GUIDE to SEVENTEEN. The one separated into 4 parts (Intro, HipHop Team, Performance Team, and Vocal Team), to get to know them better.

First things first Seventeen is an amazing group which I e been a carat aka fan since "very nice" (which by the way you need to check out), also it's hard to have 1 bias in this geoup so I have 5 they are Woozi (my ult), scoups, hoshi, Vernon and joshua.
Woozi is also known as yoongis twin as they both look similar qnd are both producers for their groups.
