How have I never seen this?! Not only are some people really rude and need to learn some manners, I couldn’t help but giggle at how amazingly you dealt with it. Also, as someone that experiences tingles I am happy to know that tapping, scratching and whispering which are some of my favourite ‘non’ triggers, aren’t actually ASMR and I have been a FOOL. Asmr is such an individual thing and triggers are so individual. For example, I personally don't like mouth sounds like chewing gum and eating sounds, but it sends some others into tingle overdrive. I hate when people are all like "I don't like this particular trigger that you've made a whole video about, so I'm going to whine about it instead of watching something else that I do prefer". It's just so stupid

That's what I do, too. It seems like such a simple concept to me. There are several things that don't trigger ASMR for me at all (eating/mouth sounds, mostly), but you know what? I just don't watch those videos. I would never leave a "this isn't ASMR" type comment on a video like that because I know different things work for different people. Why is that so hard for some people to understand?? It's extremely frustrating.

my asmr is different I don't really like whispering at all or a lot of tapping I like to watch Female ASMR and Late Night Tingles ASMR when he's not talking. I'm more of a people watcher like playing with hair or looking at things (inspection). really helps me sleep at night. I'm not one of these people that sent them negative comments though I never have seen any of her videos before lol this one popped up on my recommendations. Not every asmr video is for you and some things will trigger you and some won't.
But lots of people get same from people not whispwring... like unintentional asmr... so... if you don't like whispering, Just try a different channel or style. It doesn't mean they don't like asmr. It means they just experience it from different things

The problem is that people are only concerned about their own personal needs and aren't considerate of anyone else's. Seems to be the way a lot people are raised these days. Roleplays don't induce tingles for me at all. So, instead of leaving a rude comment to Mary, or any other ASMRtist, I scroll on past said roleplay video. Jeez, people.
That's what I do, too. It seems like such a simple concept to me. There are several things that don't trigger ASMR for me at all (eating/mouth sounds, mostly), but you know what? I just don't watch those videos. I would never leave a "this isn't ASMR" type comment on a video like that because I know different things work for different people. Why is that so hard for some people to understand?? It's extremely frustrating.
Im exactly the same roleplays and eating but guarentee Mary uploads 2 different videos on nearly daily so there is aleays something to watch if not i watch an older video not write stupid comments on ones i dont enjoy plenty other people love them! X

Agreed. If I don’t like it I scroll on by. I’m not big on eating and gum ASMR, but I don’t make nasty comments. There are thousands of other videos to give me tingles.

the fact that you had complaints on 14 types of ASMR triggers only shows how much variety you put into your videos. the best thing about your channel is that if there's a video that doesn't really work as a trigger for me, i know that you're going to put out another video very soon that will be. i don't know why that's so difficult for other people to understand.

Wait...how can WHISPERING not be ASMR? For the first, like, two years of "ASMR" on youtube, whispering was almost literally the only kind of "ASMR" content. The first "ASMRtist" on youtube was called "WhisperingLife."

Yes, Mary, stop chasing people, like properly running after them, with your videos and forcing them to sit down and keep their eyes open and click on your video and whatch it through the end. my asmr is different I don't really like whispering at all or a lot of tapping I like to watch Female ASMR and Late Night Tingles ASMR when he's not talking. I'm more of a people watcher like playing with hair or looking at things (inspection). really helps me sleep at night.
I'm not one of these people that sent them negative comments though I never have seen any of her videos before lol this one popped up on my recommendations.
Not every asmr video is for you and some things will trigger you and some won't.
But lots of people get same from people not whispwring... like unintentional asmr... so... if you don't like whispering, Just try a different channel or style. It doesn't mean they don't like asmr. It means they just experience it from different things
