What are the iron infusions for?
She says in the video that it's to combat her fatigue.
So because of my connective tissue disorder, ehlers Danlos, it affects my entire body and causes absorption issues (retaining iron from infusions/fluids, meds etc) as well as makes me more prone to small internal bleeds during my g tube changes/endoscopy procedures etc, that have caused me to become anemic several times requiring more frequent iron infusions to help with the horrible fatigue that comes with it and often leaves me stuck in bed and at home! I hope that helps to explain!
