CREAM OF RICE SECRET TRICK. Put DRY rice in a blender until its dust. Take out, pour desired amount in bowl and cook just like cream of rice.

@@surferman911 Sure does. Brand-name Cream of Rice is just coarse-ground rice flour with a bit of added micronutrients.
(You could also skip the grinding and make an overnight rice pudding, made basically the same way you’d do overnight oats.)
Or blending oats works just as well

@@cali1x74 i do that all of the time, and it works perfectly well, both microwavable and old fashioned oats work just fine, and I have tried both cream of rice and blended oatmeal, and the are very much similar both texture wise and flavor.

I think if you don’t want to put maltodextrin, or banana you can eat it for post workout with whey.
We both use the same kind of protein; Dymatize ISO-100, but I prefer cookies and cream flavor.

Nitpicking, but that’s not Uncle Ben. They’re two different companies that chose charming black men for their mascots. Ben, consistent with his avuncular title, is a fair amount older than the unnamed Cream of Rice chef. (He used to have a name, but it’s kind of a slur, so I’m leaving that alone.)
Further coincidence, both mascots are believed to be modeled on real people in the Chicago restaurant scene: as legend has it, the Cream of Wheat guy was chef Frank L. White, and Uncle Ben was maitre d’ Frank Brown.

I do almost the same thing daily but with cream of wheat and almond milk, peanut butter and chocolate protein powder. Little cinnamon and couple packets of Stevie. And a serving of blueberries. Have this usually 6 days a week for the last year plus and love it.

Healthy Tip !! Never heat or cook in a microwave with a plastic container... it's best to use glass. I use a Pyrex container with a handle, works perfect.
