I don't run stock pinions in any of my platforms. Robinson Racing or GDS Racing pinions. Stock spurs are fine but pinions seem soft to me. Arrma makes pretty decent pinion.
Traxxas stock pinions SUCK too! They are SOOOOO soft that it ain't funny! Robinson racing or gpm are my go to pinions. I do have a few gds pinions as well
@@myrclife yeah i was building my limitless for speedrun's but decided to drag race it instead since the power output is fkn crazy on it. Just need to change up on tires and gearing re calibrate esc adjust suspension and ride height accordingly and should be a pretty decent drag setup.
I got mine last week,,,,I gotta tell you. I’m no fan of spektrum systems at all,,,,have a lot of issues with them,,,,I’m also putting in a hobbywing esc and motor,,,,in my opinion they are the best,,,,I install them in all my rcs. With absolutely no issues at all,,,,love the unit....you will to,,,,have at it,,, 🇺🇸👈
Well I guess I'm glad I got the hobby wing to throw in it. I like the hobbywing systems too. They are easy to use and have alot of adjustments so you can dial it in to you likings and your specific vehicle. I have 2 hobby wing systems that I've had for 10+ years and they are STILL running strong.
Greetings, that looks like so much fun......is your E-Revo stock or do you have it all supped up? Also what scale is that and which version? Thanks for sharing!
Hello James. My E-Revo is a 1/10th scale 1st generation E-Revo. Believe it or not they used to make make them with BRUSHED MOTORS!😮 back in the day and that's what this one came stock with. I put a Castle 1515 brushless motor in it and 185 blx esc in it as well along with metal driveshafts, metal axel shafts, and hot racing spiral cut front and rear differentials AND dboots backflip tires.....so you could say it's "souped up" 😉. I'm glad you liked the video. Hopefully you'll subscribe to the channel and check out some more of my videos, there is plenty of stuff I think you'll like to watch here on MI.Rc Life. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍👍
Not 100% forsure. I did have my pinion gear loosen up and slide back, I wonder if that is where the noise came from???? I have to get some more time behind the wheel before I know.
I feel you. Sponsors make a big difference in a youtube channel! It gives me the ability to bring a bunch of different things to you guys.👍. Stay hard at work and keep making vids and someone will come your way👍
That wire u may not wanna cut is for the new spektrum smart lipos Mike, 💯🏁
I thought so because I have one 6s smart lipo pack and I noticed it had that same wire..... but it's cut now. Oh well🤷 thanks for the info though👍

@@myrclife i almost got some gpm driveshafts for my limitless but went the driveshaft support kit direction instead. They seem to make decent stuff.
The stock aluminum rear drive shaft for my Traxxas UDR is replaced with mip and the plastic front driveshaft is replaced with gpm.👍 Both seem good
Are you or any of your people getting into that no prep rc drag racing down that way?

@@myrclife haha that was 9 months ago i commented...I don't own the DBXL-E 2.0....my main is now an XMAXX.
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I never seen the comment🤦. My bad. X-Maxx's are definitely on the top of my list💪💪💪💪💪💪

Hell yea! Enjoy my rc brother!

Traxxas hustler
It's a Traxxas rustler with a Traxxas hoss body and traxxas maxx wheels😉
i have heard that diff click also when I was braking...not a great sound to hear. Is the fix to just dial down the brakes?

And sweet buggy
Shit whos your sponsor! I need one of those guys in my life.

Hey Mike what would you recommend for making a body hold up better duct tape?
Yea. Gorilla tape or t-rex tape. Duct tape is ok but the gorilla and t-rex tape is way thicker and stickier.
