Many thanks, Royce. I posted photographs of Molly's birthday card so far, on my blog today. www.janbcards.com. I went so far, but was undecided about where to put the 13! I left it and will revisit it tomorrow. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Hi Jan, I love this card, I can't get enough of the interactive type cards like this. I think they are really genius. I have a granddaughter having a birthday in March as well and I will be making this one for her. I think she will love it. She loves all my cards/projects I make for her. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hi, Bridget. Isn't it great making cards for the grandchildren? Even at the ages of mine, 16 and 13, they're just as excited about the card from Nanna as they are with their presents! LOL! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Hi Jan, a lovely card! Thank you so much for explaining about the card being 'open' at the back! I had watched numerous tutorials and wasted no end of card stock( I only use white until I get it right), thinking that I had gone wrong somewhere! Now I know that it's meant to be like that. Your tutorial is a great step by step guide, it's not the easiest of cards to make. Thank you so much. :-)
WOW!!!! Fantastic card!!!! Can't wait to give it a try! Thank you so much for giving us such a detailed and awesome instructions!!!! Another hit! God bless!
Hi Jan I saw a couple of other tutorials on this card but got confused. I want to make one for hubby's bday and now I feel I can tackle it. The numbering system is a great idea too 😀 hugs
Many thanks, Sheron. I'm sure your niece will be thrilled with it, whatever her age. Children love moving cards! Have fun making one of these! Please share once you've made it - I'd love to see it! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
wow Jan, another fabulous creation, this time I could not visualise how you were gonna make it!and why it worked!!! i have never seen this peekaboo card before and must say you have done a great video, thanks again for another super whopper card xx
I followed you, step by step and the result is a fantastic card! Thank you SO much! I thought it would be complicated, but you did a brilliant job at explaining everything so it was easy to assemble! I'm anxious to make more!
thanks for the idea about adding the little extra tombow so that the card stays together better. The floppy mess of the card without the extra touch of adhesive is the very reason I was disappointed when I made the card! Will have to try again now!
Hi, Barbara. I'm really pleased I've helped solve a problem. It's so frustrating when you find a project you like but it falls over at the last hurdle! I hope you enjoy trying again. ☺☺Happy crafting, JanB.☺
Thank you, I came back and watcher for a third time, maybe I've got it this time lol. Construction threw me for a loop. I'll get it eventually. I love these unique cards you do so well.
hi Jan. beautiful card. love the end result for your grand daughter on your blog. Your blog looks amazing just been having a look through. I have just started up my blog hugs xx
Thanks, Georgine. A ten year - girl or boy - would love a card like this. I love seeing my grandchildrens' faces when they open their cards. It's like they're opening another present! LOL! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Hi, Julia. I do agree that it was complicated but it was a lot easier once I'd named the cardstock and the Designer Paper as piece1, piece 2, and piece 3. Then it was easy to marry all the pieces up! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I love your card, great fun. In fact I love watching all your card video's, very precise and easy to follow. Gives me many hours of inspiration so thank you. How can I receive a catalogue through the post? Sam
Hi, Sam. Many thanks for your email. I have responded and hopefully answered all your questions. ☺ Please email me your postal address and I'll be very happy to send you the catalogues by return. I'm so pleased you enjoy my videos and find them inspirational. I look forward to hearing from you. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Hi, Sheila. I need time to think about that! LOL! Can you email me, so I can email my response, please? janb@janbcards.com Many thanks. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I really like this card and try to watch all your videos. At around 16:34 I noticed a neat post-it-note organization system. How did you make that? Thanks
Hi, Bonnie. Many thanks for your support with my videos. The little Post It Note book was a team swap I received from the amazing Rebecca Willmore. She bought the books from Tiger and decorated every facing page and the cover. It's lovely! Unfortunately, Tiger don't sell online and I don't know where else they are apart from here in the UK! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I do not have this die set, but are the dies not made so you can cut a frame in one pass with the straight cut circle inside the scalloped one? Your directions are so easy to follow. It definitely gives me confidence to try making this card.
Hi, Jean. I have never heard whether you can or you can't, but it's a very interesting point. I will deinitely try and get an answer for this. My initial thoughts are that, because the dies fit so well that they actually touch each other when lying on the cardstock, I'd be concerned that if one moved, it might cause damage. But ! will try to find the official answer to this! Many thanks for raising it! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Hi, Jean. I've spoken with SU Support and they have said the same as me. Put them together at the same time can cause damage, therefore not recommended. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Thanks, Val. I must agree it was a bit of a challenge, but I found it easier to marry all the pieces of cardstock and Designer Series Paper up once I named each piece as piece 1, piece 2 or piece 3. If you decide to give it a try, get in touch if you need help! janb@janbcards.com ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
J aime beaucoup les carte animes mais malheureusement je possède pas les produits stampin up dommage pour moi mais je me trouve dans un département français Dom Tom ile de La Réunion 😊mais en tout les cas c est trop beau merciiii et
