LOL - I can see that with the Mary Maxim - I think if there are more colors in the color way then you get less of that (like rainbows) but I would need to work a skein of that up to compare.
I go very slow with my magnifying reading glasses and a seam ripper. So far that has worked really well for me

I have all of these yarns in my stash (but only a little bit of the prism).
I like them all and appreciate that they are slightly different.
The big variation in the unforgettable works really well for some type of patterns but certainly not for everything. The consistency of the other two is what you would want for plenty of patterns.
I had a single skein of that exact colorway that you show in the unforgettable. Made my mom a bandana cowl. You can really see the stitch size variance. It works ok but it is very noticeable.
But it is GORGEOUS. And it is one of my mom's favorite cowls (it was a gift). I had to frog several rounds of it because I got carried away making it on a plane. I learned the hard way, that day, not to need to frog. It was SLOW going. LOL
I just got more Prism the other day, in a color called Blue Lagoon. Ha!
Oh yes - I had to frog like three quarters of a hat of the unforgettable- rough going! Lol - I do really the prism and the unforgettable.
This was a very very good comparison. Ive never used any of those yarns but I have heard of them. Im excited to try that unforgettable. Its on my list for someday. Thanks again.
I love working with Unforgettable although of course, that's not what it is called here in South Africa. But I love the colourways in it.

Yup - Unforgettable is now with my Charisma love - and now I will stock up WAY too much when I see it on sale (kiiiiind of like I did when I bought from Herrschners - haul video coming next week!)

Ooooo - good point! I am going to be honest - I gave away all but the red heart hat - lol. I WILL need to do an update video on that though to show how well it washed up.
Thank you for this video... and thank you for letting us know how it would be when you frog roving yarns. I bought a couple of roving yarns and am planning on making hats. I tend to frog my projects all the time. So, I am now thinking twice before I use it.
Never used Prism. I think you get “more bang for your buck” with Unforgettable but I love the bright colors in Landscape.

I lost a stitch the other day on my Mary Maxim prism yarn blanket. I had to throw away the whole thing. I wish I had paid better attention and had seen this video. It DOES NOT frog at all. Love these yarns though!
i definitely need to pick me up a skein of red heart unforgettable, i've always seen it at michaels but i've never tried it.
Check Herrschners! I it was on sale for about $2/skein which is amazing. I don't know if that is still the case, but it is definitely worth the check.
Love Unforgettable! Haven't tried the others. I am trying to get all the colors. I have most of them.

Great review. Too bad about the LB Landscapes. I think it tries to compete with Unforgettable but misses the mark. The MM Prism is lovely. Sheila
Thanks for the great review!! I have some yarn that I would like to send you to do a review on. It’s Kartopu Premium Line Purna, I think I may have got it from Wool Warehouse. I would want it back lol. It’s the most unusual yarn I’ve ever used, it goes from a thick five to an almost fingering weight. I’ve made a project with some of it , my star blanket, however when I wound it on my ball winder I took out the very thin yarn. Do you have a Swift and a cake Winder I could send it to you already caked? Let me know. Thanks for all you do!!

Unforgettable is my favorite yarn by far🙂
Charisma has been mine for the longest - but MAN Unforgettable is really closing in fast :-)
