Classic problem of overbuilding/overdevelopment of a home for an area. $400kUSD to live next door to a property that is clearly worth $50k USD is a mistake. You don't bring your property values up; yours goes down while your neighbors go up. You buy the rat trap house NEXT to this one, pay $50-75k for house/lot, put $60k USD into it and when you want to resell, you get what you paid unlike your $400k USD neighbor.
The over inflation in the Ghana housing market is going to catch developers like a earthquake. I swear it should be 400,000 cedis and not 400,000 dollars.
This should be $38,000? 😂 Ac’s in the house alone is $10k plus. Look into Samsung. Spanish tiles plus cement and labor is also above $10k here. Generator: allow $7,000. Pool: allow $10,000. So what about the house and everything else? This house may be a bit expensive, but don’t make false statements like this.

An average 5 bedroom house in the UK costs 250,000 British Pounds. So for this property to cost literally double that price isn’t worth it . The house is nice through and good for a family .
250,000 British Pounds is equivalent to $310,000. It cannot be double. Furthermore, houses in UK and US are mostly made out of wood and not concrete. Owner priced the house a bit high because of the furnishings and he is not a developer himself so he also had to pay for professional fees as well. The price is negotiable as well. The house is way overpriced! The real value is not more than $60k. With 400k i can get a 2 or more luxurious apartments anyway in a 2nd world country like in South America or in South Africa. You guys are scaring the diasporas from returning home with these prices
