These were all the vert kicks I could squeeze out of myself in one concrete session. They are in an approximate order ranging from easiest to hardest for me personally. Tricking terminology is sometimes really weird as you can see. We are calling things that spin 360 degrees 720's 😅. For cheat kicks it makes more sense because they are cheat kicks but for backside and swing kicks it's just confusing for people who aren't involved in the tricking community. Of well, at least some things have changed for the better like turbo and shuriken becoming part of the terminology in vert kicks. Landing on two legs used to be called "hyper style" and landing on the kicking leg used to be called hyper. Now hyper is a landing stance of it's own so it wouldn't make sense calling for example pop 360 landing on the kicking leg "pop 360 hyper". Btw, seven deadly sins is amazing! 😍
I've been working on my tricker form of the gumbi and man is it hard i pretty much got the capoeira form of the gumbi any tip on how to nail the tricker gumbi
@@johzuke1 sure I've watched them but i think the way how i kicked is slightly diffrent a tricker gumbi looks a lot like a round off while a capoiera gumbi looks like a cartwheel that's how mine looks thus a capoeira gumbi can be used to do gumbi circles (multiple gumbis in a circular motion) its good to know both techniques to show diversity that's my preference by the way
This is so useful and inspiring. I am truly grateful for this, didn't even know half of those. This will be gold to widen my tricking combos thank a lot again!
Yo new tricktuber subscriber here. Love your videos. Keep up the work. I was gonna make a basics kicks one so people can learn better form. Awesome video brotha
whoa whoa brother just like that, I am so happy and I have one request to ask for you, but only if is possible, can you teach us side split bro, I mean how to do a side splits
Go to my shuriken variation tutorial. Laeran the swing 720 shuriken from there and get solid with it. Then add a round kick as you feel comfortable with it.
Easier if you have good basic understanding of vertical twisting plus variations. I have seen even some advanced trickers struggling hard with it while doing easy dub dubs because they never prigressed through the absolute basics.
Pretty much non-existent. Comes down to the person what someone counts as swing9 and what as cork round. There is a range (undefined) where the trick can be both. Chest over hips is the absolute criteria for swing 900 but cork rounds can be more inverted than that but they can't be completely upright.
who taught you this? or did you teach yourself? i've been wanting to learn this kind of thing for a while now but i'm not sure if it's the kind of thing that has a class
One thing I don't get is why those 720s are called 720s? In my my head they're still 540s, if you count the rotation from the time the foot leaves the ground, e.g. a 720 has to be two full aerial rotations. Your 900s are the actual 720s
I didn't come up with the terminology. Cheat 720 is 360, cheat 900 is 540 etc. People really messed up the terminology bad and now it can't be fixed anymore because everyone uses the broken terms.
I'd like to see a proper powerful BS7. I know it's a low level trick that rarely if ever gets used at all, but idk why it's always half-assed kicks that come out whenever someone demonstrates it. At least overpower the kick, give it a proper horizontal angle, lean into it, wind up, pump the right knee, chamber the left and snap that hook. Now it's just a lame turn swing XD. No disrespect to your video's or tricks, I love them - but can you show us a properly powerful and intentional BS7? We have to keep respecting the basics too
@@johzuke1 it can serve as a base move to build up to arabian hook type flips. And apart from that it's how we make the tricks look and feel what makes them worth anything right? I'd still be interested in seeing what this trick could look like when actually given some heart by a powerful tricker like yourself. No trick has any use if performed half assed and without commitment
@@Coerced bs7 feels horrible because you have to do it very differently than any other backside trick. You need to lean completely differently and you need to twist weirdly little from a powerful takeoff position. It's almost like doing a pop 360 without landing on both legs which is another pointless trick imo. I would just always go for something cooler like bs7 turbo or immediately to bs9 which is way more popular for a good reason 😄. I get your point but at the same time I don't understand why you care so much 😅
@@johzuke1 lol I know and understand why you don't understand why I care haha. I'm just curious that's all. Seeing your power and then such a lame trick made me wonder why you didn't at least commit to making it cool and that got me thinking. Great stuff Johannes. I like the methodical approach in your videos and it's always clean. Keep it up!
Really helpful video for when you want to learn a kick but don't know its name. ❤
Watched it a many times.❤️❤️❤️
Very calming and relaxing video. It is as beautiful as art.
Your swing 900 is nuts!
Thanks man. It's about the pumping of the legs and leaning a bit back to get the kick out properly.
😮 that's amazing and awesome I like this toturial
this is so fckn awesome!!! makes me wanna practice all of them! thanks man!
Thank you so much

Thanks I will be trying some of these. Please explain what turbo is
Turbo is landing on both legs after hook kick, or hyperhook.

so the last one is basically boxcutter?
Boxcutter is cork hyperhook specificly. This is full hyperhook.
do you recomend to start tricking with these kicks?
Not necessary but learning to kick well early on is a good thing 👍🏻
