- Sorry for not being here recently, but this pandemic is causing more problems than I dreamt of.
Today is about collaboration; why Freddie was reticent about working with other artists. I know you will all think I left out Michael Jackson, but that is only because the result of their work together never appeared in Freddie's lifetime, nor Michael's for that matter. Please take care of yourselves and I promise it won't be so long before the next one. Now getting ready to hide away for the next three weeks as per new government regulations forbidding us to venture out of our residential district!

Billy Sqier gave wonderful complements on Freddie’s participation. Montsy bolstered his confidence so much, and Mike Moran was a tremendous help. Freddie loved challenges and rose to the occasion for the Barcelona album. It was a huge undertaking on his part! I think he thought it was his greatest achievement. ❤️ Thank you, Peter! Thank you for this, Phoebe! Freddie has been a huge inspiration for me in my darkest times. His strength and determination were the best example I could ever lean on to pass through a terrible depression and lack of self confidence. Listening to this, from you, is so inspiring! He was that legend we all still love and admire, but at the same time he was just one of us, had the same fears and issues everyone has, made mistakes, pulled himself back lot's of times as we all, and still got to inspire the whole world to go after their dreams no matter what. He is like a God for the new generations that didn't get to enjoy him alive, and it is important to understand that he was just as human as we all. So thank you and hugs from Argentina 🇦🇷

Queen's music is literature. It can be taught in text books. A classic, an art. What Beethoven was to symphony, Shakespeare to plays and Milton to poetry, and this is my earnest opinion. They should be included in literature as a Queen of music - by music I mean all genres - first one to inculcate opera in rock - first one to introduce video - first one to conquer large stadiums - first one to be a global icon from the far East to beunos Aires to Africa - first one to walk bare feet - first one to introduce ballet - first one to wear tights - first to cross the borders of eastern Europe - first one to have in a group where all the members had written global hits - and the first and last one to have the audience in the palm of their hands - The only ones to start a group and end with the same members - comes rain or shine - Queen is Freddie, John, Roger and Brian. The first and probably the last to dare confess and keep their oath to the audience "we'll be together until we fuckin die I am sure."

Phoebe, thank you for taking such good care of Freddie a man I worship. Freddie also opened up your life and showed you the world. You definitely had the best job anyone could have. I have a huge problem referring to Freddie in the past tense. For me Freddie will never die. I listen to his music, videos concerts and interviews everyday. I simply have to. Freddie had tremendous confidence but also a very humble man. Obviously, Freddie could do whatever he wanted. I love him and miss him more and more everyday. I know you feel the same. Thank you kindly for sharing all that you do...our beloved Freddie is known to most of us only through what others can share about beca. Of course, we know the talent he had, the music he wrote & sang, the instruments he played, the sense of humor he displayed & the charisma he had - we were able to experience all of these things ourselves as fans. But those attributes that Freddie possessed when not performing: his kindness, his giving spirit, his generosity, his drive, his likes & dislikes, his fears...these are things that most of us Freddie fans were unable to experience firsthand (unfortunately) & becme aware of only through his close & loving friends, his "family", like yourself. Impressions, opinions & the truths - I have found to be quite consistent among Freddie's friends - most in quite a positive light. It is comforting to know about all of these aspects of Freddie's personality, his nature...his heart & soul; makes me love him even more. And...although many say that Freddie was "perfect", well...I can't say THAT - he was a human, none of us is without some faults...& it would have been terrifying for & quite honestly, an insult to Freddie if he had to live up to being perfect. To me, he was a "perfect Freddie", with all of the downsides & more of the upsides that a person could have within.

Hello Peter, it is so good to see you and to know you are well. I have been a Queen fan since the 70s but sadly I have never seen them live but I am so glad there is so much on you tube. For my birthday last September (virgo just like Freddie, mine is 10th ) my son bought me Jim Huttons book MERCURY AND ME and I really enjoyed it, in fact Ive just read it for the second time and I just wish Jim and Freddie were still here but Im sure many many feel the same, I do enjoy your comments and look forward to each one. Freddie had an amazing voice and my daughter bought me the BARCELONA CD and I think it is brilliant. I was a singer myself for many years and love all kinds of music, I also had a lot of GAY friends and they treated me like a sister and we had some wonderful times, My husband didnt mind me being with the GAY young men as he believed that GAY men dont like women and just tolerate us so as he was into classical music I would go to the theatre and cinema with my GAY friends and he didnt mind that (weird man) Sadly we lost a lot of young men with HIV and AIDS which was heart breaking as you well know, I am unable to get out at present so I spend a lot of time on You Tube which keeps me sane, I am disabled with Arthritis and it is a nuisance but I still think I am 21yrs old until I look in the mirror and think Who is that old lady ? I still listen to Queen and Freddie's solo music to this day. Barcelona is a masterpiece. It means a lot to me that you give us an insight into your and Freddy's life. If you spoke German I would have so many questions and I would want to find out everything, so it would probably be better for you if you don't speak German 😄.
When you talk about the past and Freddy, I can see and hear your heart talking, that it is a real pleasure to listen to you. I can feel that you're a man of great feelings and that you think back to those times with love. you must miss him very much. With all these stories about him, it's almost like knowing him and being a little closer to him. I never met him and yet I mourn almost every day.
I would have loved to see it all, but listening to you is almost as nice.

Hi, hope you are doing well it's been a while since we have heard from you. But like you say with all this going on all over the world, it's sad as we have all lost some one through it. It's lovely to hear you talk about Freddie in every way him helping others out with music and doing songs with the band, he loved music like you said as you could always see how he loved doing it because of the way he was on stage and singing all of his music thank you for sharing all these moments with us.
