You sacrifice coverage, durability, film thickness, scrubability, and it spatters more. Paint is sold with a consistency it’s intended to be applied at.
The roller frame and roller are garbage from Home Depot. The best 18 inch roller is a Purdy collosus and a Purdy roller frame. Once you use an 18 inch roller you will never use another 9 inch roller again.
I wish I knew what brand or supplier you use for what looks like a fixed 18 inch roller frame. Most of the consumer grade frames of that size are adjustable and look kind of flimsy.

That is why he paints 1complete wall with one dip in other videos. Too much water in this paint or oilbased...
