I fish with my 68 year old dad, both of us are builders. Any kit like this that makes your hobby easier and more enjoyable the better👍 Deffefinatly be thinking of buying one of these...
Obviously depends on how much gear you put on and how you put it on, with these you want the weight to the rear over the back wheels, if your running a fully loaded barra for say a weeks session or just take to much crap I'd say fare play on a steep hill you might end up taking some off to get you up but a normal load ie bed rods bivvy etc not a issue, another tip is the side bags a pals mate more weight on the bottom the more steady it is
Great review cutzzy really miss your blogs hope life is treating better than the last time we spoke .ps just picked a mk2 tri porter up £120 not yet a year old .
Yer all good now mate moved on found a special parkner she's wanting me to get back to my hobbys ie bank time and doing these vlogs etc, all am doing at the moment is making sure the car is set gas to get a banger but it's had alot of issues spending outmore than what I paid for the car ffs but I just want to make sure it's winter ready now not freezing up the engine so all going well maybe bank time over birthday in January
@@camocarpycuttzy That’s great news camo I had the same thing happened to me over 50 years ago due to my carp fishing . Still been married 43 years second time around glad you have found someone else who will help you get back on track. Looking forward to seeing your blog back on again 🤞🤞still watch your old stuff with tips and tricks still worth the watch. Anyway let’s hope you have a good Christmas and enjoy your new partner. PS still using your leads pal apart from one I flattened on a bridge support on the Trent 😂😂 good luck for your future 💕💕
Is the barrow tidy bag on the back any good thinking of getting one is it split into 2 sections and do you know dimensions can't find them on tinter Web anywhere 😂😂🤞🤞🎣🎣
Yer the bag was a great bit of kit and had a rear pocket to lob handy fast needing stuff, unfortunately i can't give dimensions as I sold the Barra due to down sizing
Does this version have the hand screws on the back wheels like the normal triporter? The ones that allow you to jack the rear wheels up...... until you go over a bump that is amd it drops down rendering it almost impossible to push. Thanks
Yes mate what I did is drill 3 holes so I can set the hight to what ever I need at the time I never notices but soon as I put the car battery in the under barrow bag it worked like a snow plow but drilling the holes cures it then the thumb screw goes in the hole to stop it sliding, it will eventually knacker up the threads fare play but I've used it no end of times and no issues yet but soon as they go I'll just drill straight threw and replace with catch pins
