    What is the real purpose of home health physical therapy? It’s not like you can use gym machines or great equipment. Most you got usually is a stretchy band thing that is usually a fall hazard for elderly around their anklets. So what is home health physical therapy good for?

      @@user-hn9qg5qm3o Uusally it’s to transition from being homebound to being able to go back in the community - sometimes walking is all they need if on oxygen and they de sat easily - it’s more medical management than exercise at end of the day- ideally you help people no longer remain homebound - or improve quality of life for those with chronic health conditions

      @@dr.smith_dpt You’ll have to educate me on that. What is that? I mean seriously, I go in half these homes and literally take vitals and then patients can barely do crap in their home. What’s the point?? It’s kind of silly and yet I’m put in a position to document it so it sounds “skilled.” What am I supposed to say when it’s grandma who will always walk that way because she is 95. You can’t fix that. Cues for upright posture and foot clearance haha
