Kill the first subjugator legit then 4:14 when you come back and start fighting the strand subjugator, get the shielded buff and go behind the wall to where the relic spawns. The subjugator won’t press you. The ads can still hit you a little, and the witness can chip damage but you should be fine.

However, I was able to solo it easily on legendary hiding in the side rooms, using the osteo striga and switching to a vorpal weapon (similar to the calus cheese). Still hid behind pillars from the witness, but the subjugators couldn’t attack.

You can cheese the boss tormentor before the big boss ogre by jumping between the two mid most highest pillars by forcing it into a jump up jump down chase jump up jump down chase repeat cycle 😂

its far easier solo fyi. whole campaign is. every enemy scales with fireteam, same as witch queen and lightfall. ads that take 5 shots in a group will take 1-2 shots solo etc. try it, its the easiest way to do legendary campaigns
I've accepted at this point that my inability to beat this solo legend is skill issue cause you're literally just doing the encounter correctly no cheese
Sheesh git gud already, Lol. Ok seriously on both ends of the level you’ll find statues of people you can peek thru. It’s easier to use the one on the right bc I said so, Lol. Anyhow shoot thru the statue with a weapon that won’t dmg you. Grab the shield when time afterwards go back to that statue. During the second phase in the area where you grab the shield as you see in the video you can’t take major dmg if you just hide in the doorway. Just do your dmg from there and you’ll be done in no time, it’s almost a cheese but saying such things gets PATCHED!

Honestly running around and picking them off is what I did, red death is also a life saver
Red death is a must and with the strand dodge is my go to.
