I agree! I would have went down there personally and ask why the hell they turned off the water for the couple of houses.
I agree! They should learn to check with neighbors first to warn them their water might be affected. That gives them time to plan for bottled water or filling the tub to have water for washing and flushing. Also, the plumbers have responsibility in being sure lines aren't broken or leaking. If it wasn't broken before they started working on the lines, it shouldn't be when they've finished their work! My brother is a Civil Engineer. He's meticulous about any work his company does!
Instead of diamond painting today, I am kitting down Hugo Hege. It turned out absolute beautiful! The green eyes and butterfly are simply enchanting - this is one I may frame and hang up eventually. But other than that, today has been a day; I woke up in a bad mood and then on top of that had to clean and ended up soaking the bottom of my pajama pants because I stepped into my cat’s water bowl. My coffee even tastes subpar. I hope you’re having a lot better day than I am.
About the only good news you have today is the fact that there is a wip & waffle to watch and you only stepped in your cat’s water bowl and not cat barf. So hopefully tomorrow will be better! ❤

Hi Rebecca, OMG I commend you on how calm you are cause if that happened to our house, I'd be fuming and cursing like crazy. I hope your water and the neighbours gets fixed soon and if it was me, I'd be down there telling them off, probably getting myself into trouble cause I can't stand people who think they're better than everyone else or people who think it's only them in the world, they infuriate me so, I praise you cause I could not be this calm and collected.
Oh my goodness, water Chaos 😮. Hopefully, all will be fixed. I am recovering from food poisoning and so very tired. It is 3pm and still not out of bed. I am having a BIG me time day. I may still have diamond painting time yet!
Sounds like you need to take a long, relaxing, hot bubble bath once all the water issues get sorted out.
Hello Rebecca, I understand how you feel about the water situation. A couple of weeks back, the hot water heater went out in my apartment building. I went 9 days without hot water before they finally fixed it. Needless to say, I was not happy. Cold baths are no fun. After the first couple of days, though, I finally figured out a strategy to dealing with the extremely cold water. Thank goodness it was finally fixed, and I am back to warm showers now!
Finally got the hang of using glue dots in my single placer ! Such a game changer and am loving it ! Got a Dreamer Design called Wishing you a Rainbow I'm gonna a start in a couple of days . Will be the most colors i have done ,wish me luck ! Love your Wip and Waffles .

I am like you in that i have to have my space clear if i have various jobs to do.. i just cant think straight in chaos.
Time seems to be flyjng by and when you know there is more time behind you than in front, it can feel quite scary 😳 so i say make the most of every day 😊👍🏻🥰💚
Our work is changing rapidly and I am also picking up bits and bobs but I try and keep calm as I’ve had to take some MH time off! I’m far too pedantic and love to do a good job!

Hi Rebecca you definitely having a week of it! Hope you got the water problem sorted, what a way for new neighbours to introduce themselves! Our late fur baby, a cavalier king Charles always came back from groomers smelling lovely and groomer always back combed and fluffed up his tail 😅 I dont diamond paint in sections but been working on a Marvel DAC canvas this month, doing a little bit every day plus working on some large stickers for a 30 items in 30 days event for june as well 😊
Oh dear, you had enough chaos around your house for a while. I can imagine that such incidents always occur when you don't need them.
In the last few weeks, we've always had building sites and small holes in our car park in front of the office (due to faults in the glass fibre for fast internet) so you couldn't park or had to look for a parking space between barricades.
Hopefully they have fixed the leak in your water system quickly so that the water can be used normally again. Nothing worse than not enough water pressure under the shower... 😅😂

Hi Rebecca. I hope all your water issues have been soughed out and you and your family managed to get hot showers and you got some washing done. I got my section finished around the same time today. Your picture is looking stunning I;m so tempted to get the picture myself but it's currently out of stock with DAC so guess I'll have to be patient. I have just kitted up and started on Witche's Flower Shop by MrsbutterD from DAC - (it's 50.7 x 70.6 cm and has 64 colours and is round drills) to have another kit to work along side my June waffle canvas
Hi Rebecca! I’m so sorry to hear about the annoying “adventure” you are having with your water! I’m a bit impressed at how soon the company came out to look at it for you, but I hope they actually get the issue fixed correctly next time. 😡 I hope you were able to take an extra bit of “me time” for yourself after all that annoyance. Thanks for pushing to get this Waffle out for us on time and thanks for all that you do for the Zesties!

Hi Rebecca and Zesties, I’m playing catch up today. On the 11th I had my surgery. The surgeon went in as planned but found that the stone (my daughter calls it a rock as it was 3.5cm round) was very hard and after 25-30 minutes the surgeon had only removed 30%. So back to the waiting game. Next time they will be piercing the kidney and taking the whole stone out. Your WIP and Waffle is a godsend. I love hearing your little stories and giggles. I would so like to be doing the actual diamond painting right now but your Waffle is the next best thing.
Wowza! You have got to be tired of the pain the rock causes and bummed that they couldn’t successfully remove it! Keep remembering that this will soon be over! Thoughts and hugs to you. ❤

Oh my gracious! It's so hard to live without water, or very low water pressure. (First world problem; but very annoying! You can buy bottled water for most necessities; but water for flushing is imperative - and cold showers are obnoxious!!!) Hopefully it's all sorted now.
So funny, a new washing machine taking a walk about! It surely does scare you the first time it happens!
To the self-described "newb"; you'll soon know which budget companies to avoid because either their diamonds are poor quality and unusable, or their canvasses are too pixelated or unclear. I find it better to stick with brands with the best quality even though that means I have to save up to purchase the ones I want. The ones Rebecca mentioned are very good. I would also add DIY Diamond Painting, the same company who makes the Paint Gem Minis Rebecca loves so much. I'm working on my first 30 cm x40 cm painting from them as my June WIP and Waffle. I've not found one imperfect diamond and the canvas is of the best quality. I would say it's relatively the same quality as DAC, and not quite as expensive. My rule is to pick out the paintings I really want and save $$$ until I can order them. I started Diamond Painting in the fall of 2019 - right before COVID-19 changed our world drastically, so I haven't amassed a large stash yet. I've given a few paintings away to loved ones who really appreciated them. And I have a couple of large DAC's that are taking me quite a while because they are so filled with confetti. (Chuck Pinson is an amazing artist - extremely detailed!) My hands are quite arthritic, so I work slowly and sometimes have to stop for a week or two when I have flare-ups. I hope you enjoy this art form as much as we all do! Welcome to the community at large, and to Rebecca's Zesties!!! She is an excellent teacher and such a wonderful friend!
