@elitegb9884 Keep in mind that Shane and Joseph worked together (maybe in a different capacity) when HTF ran Capital cars in the past. Keep in mind, too, that after all of that they got frustrated with the poor results (I presume) and went to Longhorn chassis. So, I'm not sure what a blind man can see coming here.
I was under the impression the switch to longhorn was langenfelder choice
The switch to Longhorn was to try and find something but everybody is realizing they found a driver problem

@stuartwall8212 Do you think HTF would rather have subs or wins? I think it's unlikely that RTJ (11 series wins), Devin Moran (5 series wins), Bobby Pierce (13 series wins), JD (8 series wins) would give up those wins for subs. Racers race to win and almost NOBODY races for the "fun of it" and subs.
That being said, kudos to the HTF crew/family for building a brand and everything that goes with it. As far as I can tell they are one of the most popular late model racing teams even without the wins. I don't know, maybe there's an optimal subs/wins ratio. I'm just a keyboard warrior. ; )
@@krbaughn Lol....They want to win...and they try to win. But I would just say that they are successful even without as many wins as they/we want. It is a career pathway for them, so turning the nut is a higher priority than winning? Only thing I have ever raced was hard body 1/24 slot cars....and in the circles I ran in my wins were few and far between.
And another thing why not send Jessie to chassis school or some seminars. Shit jojo and Jessie been friends since grade school if anyone knows jojo it’s Jesse. He understands and sees what the car is doing and what jojo does to make it do it. Understands how tracks change and lines and whatever. Jmo on the couch tho. Experience is key in this game. He's playing video games. They are so sloppy center out everywhere that's hammer down. Id change everything but the driver.

@davidboyus6389 I don't know if I"m a complainer, but I raced a couple of classes, including late models, for several years before I moved to another state. In fact, I raced against Jay ((J1) President of Dirt Track Bank), who sponsors HTF.
How dare you! Even though I last raced 30 years ago, haven't touched a wrench in 25 years, or even been to a racetrack in 20 years, I _know_ all about modern racing and my opinion is the right one, because if HTF didn't put it in the video, it didn't happen! And HTF is never gonna win again until they get 2 new crew chiefs, a new motor, a new chassis, a new crew, and a new driver. There, I said it. I can see that all of this is true, even from my couch! Call me a troll if you want to, but these are _facts._ Oh, another thing...
They always complained that they didn't have good equipment. Now they have the best of the best and suck. Just you tubers trying to make money.

@hippyjason I have helped a guy run a super late from back from the 1990's thru the early 2000's. He had a Rocket and a Master built race cars he ran the STARS super late model series back in the 1990's finished 10 th place one year and 11th place one year plus won back to back track championships at I-79 speedway in Shineston, wv the track that Mark Richard's used to run back in the day he r a cedar against Steve Francis you should know what he does now.
You guys have the best equipment money can buy. I think you should find out where the weakest link is. I think if you Look you will find out your driver doesn’t like to be crowded. He goes backwards when being leaned on. I love your videos
JJ has always backed out of a potential wreck when he could. Not being critical, but it's what I see. Saves equipment, plays the long game, however it's stated, he's not overly aggressive.
Too much coasting through the corners, qualifying! If you can't pick up the throttle right after getting in, back up the corner a little.

Don't put a ton of eggs in that Thunderhill setup basket. Such a weird place. You can have the worst setup and suck everywhere else and go there and half track the field. Put it in it's own notebook and don't change the whole car 😂 put it back to standard if anything and roll with it! Just a matter of time before yall are winning again

@Synic08 Given that Longhorn chassis are finishing races approximately in the top five or six (out of 10) of just about every race - including the crown jewel races - by well-known, successful drivers, they don't need to pay anybody to "bash" other chassis brands. They're too busy winning.
Let me add that I have a ton of respect for Shane Clanton. The guy has a stellar history. I think, too, that it'd be good for the sport if another chassis builder got into the mix, so I'm rooting for Capital and I think it'd be super-cool if HTF was part of the Capital wave.
I can't wait to see Jessie run a super late model again.

Jessie is so passionate about this team, but perhaps he could benefit from focusing on honing specific skills, like mechanical or chassis set up, it would enhance his contributions to the team. Maybe HTF could sponsor him in attending a specialized school that would provide him with knowledge and experience, he could offer more insightful, informed input while also feeling more confident in his role on the team.

Guys, yall put on one hell of a show. I loved it. I can't wait to see another HTF series race in person. yall, we're awesome. And i was very impressed with Joseph's driving during the feature after all that bad luck he didn't over drive the car and smash into everyone trying to get to the front on the first lap like most of them do and still came away with a top 10 great job

Another stellar performance weekend for the Kubota brand. When you all travel, I know your race payout doesn't come anywhere close to paying the tire or fuel bill, but does it cover what you all eat at the track?
Sometimes you think to yourself, if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
I believe there will be improvement. Consider Shane bringing in HTF as a business venture to solve a problem. The goal would be to improve the Capital brand by sharing chassis set-ups and to through time improve the frame. Since Shane is one of the owners in Capital there is a purpose behind what they are doing. Give them time. Consider this their research and development phase of the operation.

@Thecleananunseenteam It seems that if you don't give a proverbial hug and kiss to the team, you know, write something cuddly and unhelpful and full of emotional rainbows and lollipops, then the HTF care bears get vicious. They don't tolerate hate unless it's coming from them. I think, too, that these are the same people giving one of their last dollars to a team that is significantly richer than they are. But how can a kind person - including one who doesn't have much money - say no to all the HTF merch calls? But let me say (write) that the HTF guys/family seem to be genuinely good/likable folks. Just don't be critical of their racing/results, though. ; )
