Hello. I am sending greetings from Prague, where I live. I discovered your channel thanks to your video about Prague. You're great. I love your videos. Hope, you will keep going. :-)
Wow thank you so much!! 💚 This is so generous and nice of you! You've made our whole week! 😊💚 We sincerely enjoyed our time in Prague, it was such a fun city to explore!!
Hello Jimmy and Natalie. It was awesome to meet the both of you at Walmart. The both of you totally made my day. I was just enjoying my lunch break and you both walked by. Thanks for taking a picture with me. Like I said if you're ever through my area again stop in for an oil change or tires. I really wanted to see pancake but I didn't want to intrude. Both of you travel safe.
That silky soft face on the Alpaca boy, so adorable! There used to be an alpaca farm a 2 minute drive from my house, they also sold alpaca wool, and you could go on a guided walk with them in the fields. Sadly, I only admired them from a short distance, and now the couple running the farm, have sold the farm and left.
Fun video as usual. When I was running my solar wiring through the RV wall an electrician friend told me to loop the wires lower than the entry point so that when water runs along the wire it will drip off at the lowest point instead of following the wire into the wall. Looks like you could easily route the Starlink cable under the marker light so it has a point lower than the entry into the plastic/van.
I LOVE alpacas! Especially the sound they make. So cute. Ok Natalie, did you know that alpaca fiber is 10x warmer than wool? Also, if you guys knew how much work goes into that one pair of socks (shearing the alpaca, skirting the fleece, washing the fiber, combing it to make roving that will be spun into yarn and then knit into socks, etc.) you would understand why they cost $25. Just buying a skein of alpaca yarn can be close to that price, so getting already made socks is a deal! You can’t compare those socks 🧦 to a pair you would get at say…Walmart. 😊
It’s great to see you join the Starlink revolution. We had ours mounted like that for a while until we flat mounted it. How are you dealing with the cable end when the dish isn’t on the roof? Keep making those videos. We really enjoy them.
I remember last year, when Dewitt and Debbie went with you guys and boondocked for the first time. There is a whole lot of planning on where to park, when there is a class A that size!!!
Yes, Starlink is expensive....but I'm glad you got it! No more "rushing to a free wi-fi" place or hoping you can upload on your cellular plan, etc. Now, it's just get clear line of sight, which you'll do anyways for solar and you're good! So cool that Jimmy's parents are doing the RV life as well! Not sure I'd do a Class A...probably go with a Class C. The smaller Sprinter/ProMaster vans, I don't think I could get used to that amount of space. Been thinking of taking a year after I retire in 10 years....to just drive the US and Canada. I suspect Starlink will be a part of my budget. hehe. I'll probably rent a Class C for a week or two before retiring to "take test trips" with and see how I like it. I've already driven most of the US and some of Canada as it is. Enjoy the time off! Have some awesome holidays and we'll catch you in January!!
Hello @JimmyandNatalie, the authenticity the two of you are naturally able to convey across a pixelated screen entangles my mind. This leaves me with an abundance of WONDER. How is it possible that your digitized entertainment creates a feeling inside me like you are sitting in the same room as me telling me your story, while I'm watching you on the screen at the same time? I'm not sure what this means or if it is something that needs to be explained but I do know that the two of you have a special message that I have yet to find duplicated. FYI - I would love for me and my loving wife to meet up with you both and hang out sometime.
Damn, that's a long time to hold my breath.....I'm probably going to turn a few shades of blue before you put out another video........going to miss you guys.
The rock on your finger has definitely changed since Europe. Congratulations. Hope you have a great December. A clue on Patreon would be great ... all in Gods time.
Some tips for Starlink.... 1) You should have purchased the hardware in Canada - you can get refurbished hardware for 260ish CAD. 2) Don't keep the router in your van - unless you want to fry your brains. IT'S POWERFUL. We keep our router in a plastic box outside - even in freezing weather... its fairly weatherproof. Keep it in the shade if its sunny. 3) Don't back-up into the dish. We backed-uped onto the dish base and broke our motor. Thankfully Starlink is sending us another refurb dish and credited us 1 month free. Enjoy Starlink - its a GAMECHANGER!
I have Surfshark. I’m not a nomad. At home I have to pause it to get weather and often to run UA-cam. I don’t location shift and don’t have Netflix to spoof either. As they say, your results may vary. The alpaca farm sounds fun. Some of my favorite socks are made from that wool.
Im getting caught up... been raining off and on here in Westport, Wa... so, im watching the kids I just got intro'd to by Kara and Nate,,,ive been watcing them since right before covid... If i dont sit and watch, your in the background...
Congrats on the new Starlink! Thanks for taking us along to see your faux donkeys with topknots, they are really cute. What a blessing to have such cool parents! Enjoy your time off, it is well deserved! See you when you get back. 💞
Love the vid guys as always,,but I want to tell you about a funky hack that I said to myself would never work,,,Put a open bar of Irish Springs soap in your rig,,It definatley works to keep critters out,,,I live and park my rv on 87 acres of wilderness and since I started doing this No more Mice havent seen a ant or that being said any bugs !
So good to see you this week AND your parents! Bonus! Such a pretty alpaca! ❤ Impressive installation of Starlink! Do Debbie & Dewitt have one, too? Will the end of year/beginning of 24 plans include them, too? Can't wait to hear more! Merry Christmas and have a great break! Much love from SC, Jane❤🙏🌲
Loved your video. Your youth and enthusiasm makes our day as a retired couple. We watch you on our TV but I want to make sure to like and comment here as well.
I have had Starlink since January of 2022. I’ve now mounted it permanently on the house so when I get to traveling in 2024 I’m going to buy a second system to use in the fifth wheel only when I’m traveling.
Hi 👋, Jimmy and Natalie , thank you for sharing your amazing experience, Van 🚐 😂,Life, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, look forward to seeing your next adventure, Phil from the moulin France
Natalie there to save the day Parents definitely #1! Hay is great but hope your mascot Donkey likes Pancake😳 Haven’t seen Shelly’s Nest upload in awhile glad to see them!! So The Tow Car They use Debbie must drive in hilly or narrow areas just a guess. Have A Fun Holiday Season see you in 2024🎉! Happy Travels All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed. P.S. Great Teamwork On Installing The Starlink!
Thank you for sharing this information about Starlink! We've been finishing up our skoolie and have this to consider when we travel. Very good info, it will be interesting to see how it continues to perform. Thanks!
The power issue is keeping me away from Starlink until I can figure out if doing the DIY 12V conversion will decrease the power consumption. And the Gen3 is supposed to require even more power.
Maybe a couple shorts to say hi as we wait for the big surprise. Also. Living R V only uses there starlink we he out of range of cheaper services. So the pay for what and when they need it. 😊
Thank you for your videos. We're not RVers but love watching your travels. Have you seen the new Pebble Flow RV? It is truly a new concept and well done to the young designers.

I’m so glad we got to meet you too!! If we ever come through again and cross paths again, we’ll be sure to give you a proper tour of Pancake! 😊
I hope you guys are ok. Haven’t seen new videos from you.

Boarding a ship and sailing pancake to Hawaii?
Jimmy and Natalie, alpacas, AND Shelly´s Nest…perfect trifecta! ❤❤
Glad you are taking some personal time. Rest up and enjoy time with family and friends!
Yay to Starlink! Next time we cross paths, I'll mod that puppy to run on 12V 😏
We've had Starlink for a while. Make sure not to leave yours out in Portland.
Thank you! We'll try and remember that!
After 5 years on the road we bought Starlink in July we really enjoy having a great connection. Good idea with the switch.
Fun video as usual. You two, more than anyone on UA-cam, really make me miss being young. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and adventures. 😊
We converted ours to 12v with only 3 amps draw now.
Also cut it down to an inch.
Haven't seen any new videos...miss you guys!!!

Ring in the New Year, congratulations can't wait for the big announcement.
Now that y'all have Starlink, you should start uploading more often than once a week.
You will LOVE your alpaca socks!
I remember last year, when Dewitt and Debbie went with you guys and boondocked for the first time. There is a whole lot of planning on where to park, when there is a class A that size!!!
I have an idea for you! Maybe you could place a curtain between your bed and kitchen that slides from side to side.
What cute animals! I hope the Starlink works out for you!
Real wool socks are worth the money. They are warm yet breathable and really good for hiking boots and snow skiing. ❄️
In the settings you can put the starlink to sleep! Or put it on a schedule
In terms of the power useage, you can set a schedule for it to turn off (through the night) in the app. Settings/Starlink/Sleep Schedule
Always love your adventures !!! Especially with Mom and Dad

You really deserved a break but I MISSED YOU BOTH SO SO SO MUCH:-). Love this trip.
So many other van life UA-camrs have the StarLink already, congratulations.

Welcome to club star link. I hope you make it to Skooliepalooza.
bummed that we have to wait so long for the next video but excited to see the big adventure you have planned! 🤙🏼
Thanks
Thank you so much!!
Ever lander has a video for a DC power supply that halves the power consumption and eliminates the need to run your inverter. Check it out.

There is a new more flatter version of Starlink for the same cost for travel & RVs.
It just came out few weeks ago.
Should have bought that one

I love your vids and calming style
Sorry we missed while you were in Santa Fe. Unless your spending more time here it would nice to meet both of you. Happy Holidays 😎
Nat,
I always have trouble deciphering which is the Daddy LLama & which is the Momma LLama.
!
Very convenient device that they make that goes into the shackle attached to the b-pillar of your van making the door lock a step
Family time, yay! And Starlink! And you're going to be gone for awhile, sad face. Have an awesome holiday season you guys. See you on the other side.
Jimmy..what about the plug?? You leave it in too of the van?? Does it flap when druving?? What about rain getting into plug?
Same question. How are you protecting the plug that goes into the antenna when not in use? Seems like it will corrode or get dirty over time.
Hi 👋, Jimmy and Natalie , thank you for sharing your amazing experience, Van 🚐 😂,Life, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, look forward to seeing your next adventure, Phil from the moulin France

Have a wonderful holiday. Alpacas are amazing!
I love Alpacas and I spin wool and Alpacas fiber.
That is awesome. Happy for you
The power issue is keeping me away from Starlink until I can figure out if doing the DIY 12V conversion will decrease the power consumption. And the Gen3 is supposed to require even more power.
Great video! Although it was as long as your typical video, it seemed to go so fast. Have a Merry Christmas. 🌲
I’m pretty sure I stayed in that exact area a couple of weeks ago. If it’s the same, the road in was horrible. The cows were cute though. 😊
well ok but if we end up in an all out war with the Martians just remember you guys helped fund it
Happy holidays! Enjoy your time off.
