That was brilliant Doddy, thank you. We're all huge fans of Isabeau in our house, she's just so genuine and what amazing talent. Gorgeous bike too. 👏🏼👏🏼
Just bought one myself in ivory it's pretty nice not a bad price ethier m6 first bike after 15 yrs mine came with Yari forks but are being changed for 170mm Either Zeb or fox for a 2k bike brand new just now its quite a bargin! 2023 model
What a dream bike, goodness. I'm so envious lol but also very encouraged 'cause it shows me that there are actually really great setups and components for someone as small and light as me.
Can you guys do a review the Canyon Sender CFR. And please test it in different terrains and different types of trails like Cross-country, Enduro, Downhill, Freeride, Dirt Jumping ,Trials
Very nice bike. I could not live with the hydraulic actuator on the seatpost. One crash and you could snap off the hose and have it fixed for the rest of the day. But that‘s the problem if you are a SRAM rider and you have to use everything from them. The new Specialized kind off.
All of Europe, French brand I think, don't see many about but my LBS is an official Lapierre shop in Manchester UK ... and he's struggling to get hold of cassettes at the moment never mind complete bikes
16.8kg. For a 153cm and 50kg rider. Let that sink in for all the riders/experts constantly complaining about weight... Might wanna look somewhere else for the problem :)
@@sloops4398 :)) Paid to ride a tank and winning. Wait, that must be the reason why she lost the last race. These sponsors...sabotaging their own riders. Also as dominating last season, she couldn't sign with others :)
The bike is built how she wants it, she could set it up lighter if she wanted. The weight isn't a hindrance on the descents and she is extremely fit so the transition climbs are no issue
16,8kg? Wtf. But i think you call it light because you also called the 2kg carbon wheelset light. With this weight she also could have ridden a aluminium frame. Would be lighter.
before I bought the bike i have at the moment i nearly bought one of these but i was so foolishly impatient after waiting 3-4 months that i just couldn't wait any longer + the bike i have now the suppliers knocked of £150 to keep me happy as they messed up my order 3 time in a row, anyway not a particularly well known brand but they have pedigree and that's good enough for me
That’s the reality of ews racing though. Even with carbon and everything you’ll struggle to find a sub 16 kg bike in the pits. It’s about consistency and being able to ride to the end and sadly that’s only possible via some heavy duty components
@@themagicillusions hmm, remember when i bought 1100eur 120/120mm full in 2014 it have 14,5kg (acera-alivio components+alu heavy 3kg frame XL size) and it was like ''omg its heavy crap'' And this racing machine 16,5kg in carbon and S size, its like WTF :-)
Yeah other than the coil shock, rear tyre insert and thick tyre casing, what components are heavy enough to make it weigh that much?! Maybe the water bottle was full 🤔😂
Hm... Alot of uncommon components on there. Coil spring, hydro dropper post, twist lockouts, push on grips, pedals, tpms, water bottle, even the saddle looks cushy. Add to that non production tires and fork.
Wow I'm just ....mystified... carbon bike, small size, carbon cranks, carbon rims... 16.8kg? Did you misspeak there, Doddi? That's nearly 37lbs da fuq? WHERE is the weight? in the tires? That would be the worst spot ever particularly for a small rider. I have a LARGE AL Kona AL rims, AL cranks, trail tires SLX/XT build and its nearly 33lbs. Makes no sense.
Actually quite normal for enduro race bikes, they typically run DH casings. A little extra weight is better than cutting a sidewall on rocks during an enduro race.
I love her, showing that small riders can shred too. And she have the nicest personality.
GMBN: “IDEA! Let’s have our absolute tallest expert interview the tiniest possible rider!”
That bike is nuts
Gotta love Doddies enthusiasm.
He's great isn't he? Still at it since the MBUK days, and still as enthusiastic as ever.
Does anyone else find it funny that the reach of the bike is his shoulder width? Awesome bike, even though I like more colour.
@@brothereldrian9913 I love it stack reach ratio.
I'm actually surprised at how good she is with numbers. I think she had an answer to every question. Nice girl. And bike.

this would make for a seriously good repeat series showcasing different bikers and bikes. solid content.
They've been doing this for a while. Tons of different pros and their bikes.

Geez that's quite a heavy bike , that really surprized me more than anything else !! She's very cool and a great rider.
Yeah me too, but then again, racers run heavy casing tires with rear insert, in this case a coil shock and a zeb, plus it’s weighed with pedals.
She's a legend already, small compact ,cute and hard as nails rider 👍
The bike does look tiny with Doddy standing next to it! But Isabeau is such an amazing rider, I’m stoked that they’re looking at her bike!
Great vid, always love Doddy's passion for the bikes and top rider with a great personality, love it!
Seeing how doddy stands tall beside the bike, it feels like he’s giving a walkthrough for the latest kids model.
Gotta stay safe when doing a bike check.
Always wear a helmet
@@Jacob99174 Yeah. I wear mine when I go grocery shopping.
Huge thumbs up for for Doddy's bike check with Isabeau!

Sick bike...nothing without the rider. Smashed it Isabeau, well do.
A few features I personally wouldn't run but bloody hell, I'd like that in my arsenal.
Bendyrims™
@@TwoDogsFighting dropper post and remote lockouts were my first thought but I'd totally be popping some Halo rims on it.

Brilliant video, excellent detail on a very interesting bike.
Love those tanwall tires

Don't really see that many Lapierre bikes in in UK, didn't they have some link with Raleigh back in the day???
I've never seen one in the US. Maybe more like eastern Europe?
Yeah, owned by the same parent company as Raleigh, lots of LP UK dealers: www.lapierrebikes.com/gb-en/store-locator/
All of Europe, French brand I think, don't see many about but my LBS is an official Lapierre shop in Manchester UK ... and he's struggling to get hold of cassettes at the moment never mind complete bikes
Wondered how tall Doddy was, untill Isabeau showed up to scale that bike!
Yeah she is very short. And he is tall
If I remember correctly Doddy is 6ft 3in (190cm). So yeah, he's definitely on the tall size.
Isabeau is 5'0", one of the shortest riders in the field.
@GMBNTech just like to know when will you be having a look at that new GT enduro bike
16.8kg. For a 153cm and 50kg rider.

I have got the Zesty 9.9 in large 29er with Fox 36 and DPX2 and mine is 14 kg... Same frame so I dont think that her bike weights that much.
Isabeau is THE BOSS!!
Man I love how good small frames look! Too bad I am 2m tall. Honestly the spicy is amazing.

Wow! Beautiful!
great bike check. Well done
Charming and tough as nails...!
Why is doddy wearing a helmet here lol
to protect his glamorous hair from elements

Safety first, obviously
Always be prepared for a crash, even when not riding.
Isabeau shreds so hard I'd wear a helmet too
Good interview.
How is it heavier than my size L with alloy wheels and inner tubes?
Still great looking bike tho
@@ApexHerbivore Yeah it was heavier than I was expecting too. Coil shock, mousse in the rear, thick carcass tyres... but still, 16kg+ seems mad.
Maybe the water bottle was full ?🤔
@@johnmes6967 haha I just said that in another comment 😂
Would still only account for 7/800 grams surely?
My Spicy 3.0 in size L was only 1.1kg more with the stock coil. I changed the shock to a Cane Creek DBAir CS, and that made it under 17kg.
Look at those tanwalls! Martyn won't like those but I bet they are good for at least 2/10's of a second advantage.
No mention of bike weight?
Can you do grip shift vs trigger
She was cool too.
I can only dream of such bike
How tall is Isabeau?
Pro Xc bikes check please 🥺
I feel like most pro riders have no idea about the spec of their bikes and mechanics are the ones you want to interview for the tech geeks
She is adorable
Looks like a future xc bike tbh. Not that burly, is it because of the lack of competition in the women's category?
He makes it look like a slope style bike🤣
It looks like a kid’s bike next to your 6’3” frame!
Tan wall on an enduro bike?

Seriously I'm surprised at the weight. It's carbon and a small. Probably from some burly ass tires.

What no Mullet Bike fad??? Never!
Did you call her Isabel Cordura? Come on Doddy, that's just lazy.
Why are you both wearing helmets????

Such a good looking bike, isn’t it. Would be even better if it wasn’t a mullet
I cant imagine a 100lb rider needs a RS Zeb. I bet she could use a fork with 32mm stantions, and it still wouldn't flex. Just save the 3 lbs.
Too bad her mechanic did not think of that. ;-)
Maybe then she could have won the race...oh wait
@@mattgilbert9277 or rather extended the margin by which she won, smart ass.
