@Enzo Music, you did justice to the original TV series.
"V" was portrayed as realistic and believable. It installed the suspicion, and later the conformation, of our worse nightmares, that we were being manipulated & harvested like cattle.
The old guy in the series was a haulocost survivor and had seen it all befor. As an Israeli, in high school we studied the uprising of the N' party to power, and all the hall marks along the way. Sadly, this series is still very much relevant today.

Yeah, as an OG sci-fi nerrrd (the 1st miniseries premiered when I was a HS sophomore), both minis hold up extremely well & you SHOULD watch them!
Now, yeah, it looks dated -as most classic sci-fi does - & its "facisicim can't happen here" messaging isn't the most subtle, but "V" is a powerful tale & great entertainment in its own right. Besides, take a look at current real-world society & politics & tell me we DON'T need a reminder of how far extremism can go...😝

A mini-series that is even more relevant and scary today. Great remix of The Final Battle theme and excellent video. Julie Parrish was a boss!

Same here. The first time I saw the series as a child, it scared me to death. Memories are awakened. A damn good series. At that time. I didn't like the remake series that much.

This show was not underrated at all. I remember when it came on it was big event, like if it was the next Star Wars or Star Trek. It aged a little too well. If you ask me. Man did they call a lot of stuff before it’s time.
My favourite series in the eighties.
I remember when the alien baby was born. That was THE TALK of the day the next day in grade school. Like everyone saw it. You don’t have stuff like that anymore unless it goes viral.

It’s hard to believe but V is actually 40 years old this year and the story is still very relevant today , we shouldn’t take our beautiful planet for granted as who knows there could be an alien race out there who may have designs on our planet for themselves? They should have had this tune as the main one for the whole of the V series and not just for the final battle as it was very good😊❤

One Hell of a remix! And it WAS a remix. Most MC's tend to be lazy or weak sauces, but this feels like a banger in its own right. Good for both show & dance floors alike...😝
And, yeah, as an OG geek from the day (I was an HS sophomore when the 1st miniseries came out), you young folk need to watch at least both miniseries. The fascism trope isn't played subtly, but as both pure entertainment AND "it can't happen here" analogy, it's great.

I have always loved this theme and I love this remix, especially towards the end when it really kicks into high gear!
You sir are the best, remixing all my childhood favorites.. and this out of the blue. Luckily for me I have the entire V mini series on dvd as well as the television show I think tonight after I put the kids to bed I’ll pop it in. Back in 1985 we only had 1 TV in my house and since V was on up against Dallas and my mom never missed an episode of Dallas unless it was a repeat then I got to watch V.

I really do wish I was back in the 80s
The series was somewhat cheesy and derivative but, somehow, they captured the humanity of the story and made it accessible and relatable. It was science fiction but the story didn't focus on the science fiction. They did focus on people, their behaviour and reactions and the obvious connection with historic events made it more relatable. I felt it was done with respect and I hope that's how it was interpreted by those who may have more connection to such events.

V has always been amazing since the very beginning. It's my favourite TV mini-series of all time.
Would have loved to have seen an international version of V.
Our resistance would have certainly fought in the streets and in the fields. We would have fought in the hills.
And thanks to the red dust, we were able to fight "with growing confidence and growing strength in the air."

After all those years, it's with X files one of the most terrifying themes ever composed. That show was a friggin blast (hopefully not from the future).
My sister Sue has The Original Miniseries,The Final Battle and The 19 part Series on dvd as well as all the V novels!! Sue also has photos and magazines all about V too that’s how much she loves this show ❤❤

I forgot to mention that my sister Sue (who is 50 next year) also has a couple of V t shirts too as I said she absolutely adores this series ❤ It’s never aged considering it’s now 40 years old, the story is still very relevant and it’s maybe what this planet needs (an alien invasion) to get people to wake up into protecting our beautiful planet❤
Sue also said that the alien invasion may also make people stop fighting each other ( war in Ukraine for example) when instead we would be fighting a common enemy for our planet❤

My sister Sue also told me that the Swastika style symbol on their ( orangey red ) 0:18 uniforms and squad ships was in fact the Sirian word for Sirius (it does kind of look like a letter S ) and also that the doors inside of the Mothership resembled the shell of a tortoise ? The signs where there all along to them being reptiles of some description (according to Willie he said his mum was a bit of a Chameleon once when Julie thought he must have meant comedian, as he was dressed up as a mouse once in an episode of V The Series, when in fact he really did mean to say Chameleon?😂) Sue also loved how once Willie once said that Elizabeth had a pornographic memory when he meant photographic😂😂❤ As you can see Sue really loves V❤❤

Nun hast es (wieder einmal) geschafft: ich werde mir die Serie mal anschauen. Kenne sie nicht, aber dein Schnitt und Remix dazu haben mich neugierig gemacht..und es ist mir egal, dass es aus den 80ern ist - ändert es doch nichts an den Ideen und Gedanken, die übermittelt werden sollen.
