my favorite quote, "When you wake up tomorrow, having given up will be far more painful then anything else you could have done"
thank you ! i`m gonna keep that in mind
"Anyone can run downhill, not many people can run up"
My favorite quote of the day!
+New Future Builder Same
New Future Builder
New Future Builder I just fall downhill
Suffering is a vehicle... that mine.
“And the interesting thing is that trophy is usually at the top”🏆
"A moment of pain is worth a lifetime of glory" is what I told myself before passing 8 people in the last 200m of the mile at the simplot games to come 4th in my heat
Bad ass. Congrats Sammy
+zzmax23 5:40
Louis zamperini
Damn man I like to do that one the last 100 but that doesn't work with that many people first race I won on my life I had to Sprint the last 200m and the other dudes my teammate not a sprinter and there I go with a win
@Michael Rizk 2:22 is my current time in that race. 800 is a hell of a race
"Pain is temporary, quitting is forever"
This got me through the NYC Marathon.
started running recently and did my first 2 mile run today (18 minutes). was out of gas after 1 .. my calves were burning and lungs were giving out .. The quote "When you wake up tomorrow, having given up will be far more painful then anything else you could have done" kept me going .. thanks guys!
Bad ass! Congrats
Limits are only in your head.
Ivan Bagnasco until you pass out, throw up, tare a muscle, break or fracture something, get an asthma attack, or throw your back out. Then it might be good to set up a few limits.
"Pain is temporary but quitting lasts forever." This helped me set a PR in my conference XC race destroying my old time by 30 seconds. I ran a 16:47 three mile to become 9th in my conference. Thank you for your inspiring videos!
Congrats Ben!
Nice to meet a mountain biker ,I'm racing downhill ,nice to meet you
Going for my second work out of the day: a 3 mile run while my friends party I’m tired of settling when I could be doing something meaningful and productive with my spare time! Running is my therapy!
I listen to this before xc and track races. It's so helpful thank you
Kiki ASMR same
McKenna check out some of these videos for more motivation content. ua-cam.com/video/-xjBI1asjKc/v-deo.html
I’m dead. My buddy used to listen to this before track races on his phone on full blast
Me too
Chefs kiss
That last line hit me so hard
The guy who gives more when it hurts gets more when it's over
Wow
Yep. Definitely going for that run today!!
hope u have a good run
Hi Rosemary!
Did you run?
Did you go?
Currently running up the hill yelling "push bitch, fucking push!!! Make it to the tree!!!"
Scar, all day every day
Ran a 1:36 in the half marathon today (women 50-54). This video was so inspiring to me the night before the race. "do something great today" Thank you!
Let me ask, does doing a half in 2.5 hours is that ok
"Pain is temporary but quitting is forever." Wow! Just wow! This is the quote for my next race! Bring it on!
"Racing hard hurts. Quitting hurts. You don't get a life without hurting. You just get to pick which pain you want to feel."
This has gotten me through cross country all year and all quarantine.
I'm training for a marathon. I watch these videos while I get ready for my 5am runs. Definitely gets me awake and motivated to go give my all to the run.
Tawny we saw your post on motivation. Check out some of content on eighty7. ua-cam.com/video/-xjBI1asjKc/v-deo.html
I’ve been listening to this for the past 6-7 years. Still gives me goosebumps every time
It has been awhile. I needed this.
I’ve had a really bad hamstring injury that ruined the first half of my XC season. I couldn’t train for eight weeks and I’ve lost a lot of fitness. My first 5k was terrible this year. I have a two mile race tomorrow and I’m anxious. I was the champion of the 3200 and the record holder for the mile and the 3200 at my school, but I fear tomorrows two mile race will crush that. Thank you for this video. I’ll endure that pain to ensure that victory 💥 🎉🎉
First saw this almost two years ago and it’s still my favorite motivational video to this day
Please keep uploading more videos, I love them and they help so much.
Watching this before leaving for the last week in the Air Force recruitment. Here I Go.
Pain is temporary

+Abe Bautista Awesome. Very welcome. Thanks for listening!
I'm back to running 🏃♂️ something I LOVE and couldn't do for many years. I'm joyous to be back at it. This video is just what I needed.
I run cross country in high school and this video hits so many relatable points!
+Ethan Same, I love cross country! Except when it hurts, but that pain is only temporary, you'll be proud of what you accomplished later in life when you look back at your high school cross country career.
I was doubting if I should run tomorrow morning to double my workout other than xc practice. Watching this has made my goal set thank you!!
Pain is temporary but quitting lasts forever.
Whatever makes you Run ! Period..

"Pain is temporary, quitting is forever' POWERFUL!!!!!
These videos are amazing! I'm not always a big fan of motivational videos but I subscribed to you after I watched just one of yours.
ocr246 Hey I appreciate it! Thanks for the comment!
I love “Pain is temporary, but quitting is forever.” Oh gosh I love that. It pushed me through my last run and I’m so proud I’m starting to be stronger.
The main thing I like about running is that even if I have no motivation or energy to do anything else I can still run and feel really good about it. I can't say that about anything else.
Eddie this kickstarted my drive again. Thank you so much.
happy to help man!
I have districts today and I really needed this video
I played this video to my son yesterday before his 4A Kansas State XC Meet. The race really was going to be between us and another team. The quote “ Either you did something great or you didn’t “ really touched his soul. This team won and he PR on that course. I love this video Thanks!!!
"Pain is temporary, but quiting is forever"......so true
Eddie....u are simply phenonmenol
*Today I Learned*
1. All things of value come with a cost
2. There is no success without adversity, and how you handle yourself at those times is what defines you
3. Consciously avoid quitting. Anyone can run downhill, it takes more to go uphill - where the trophy is
You are my saviour my friend and thanks for all your videos
WOW EDI!! Haven't seen this video before! This is AWESOME!
Thanks Sayan!
I lisin to him every day thank you Eddie I remember listening to his podcast on Spotify and he was talking about how he was scared to share his past video running through hell in how 1.5 million people viewed it that is so inspirational take care everyone
THANK YOU! I REALLY NEEDED TO HEAR THIS TODAY ! IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE OUR THINKING! 🥰
Thank you so much
Marathon in the morninggg
Thank you
Gives me chills!
wow... that is some brilliant stuff, loved every word of it!!!
the best every time ... as always !
Thanks !
Omg bro, just keep going and don't give up if you want to succeed. That's all you had to say instead of wasting time
Highly inspirational video.
This is something that reminds me over and over again that without putting an effort success won't be possible and becuz of this video I was able to remind myself not to give up easily.
this video has entirely changed my mindset. I have watched this so many times, it really is resonating with me. This video got me in the mindset to PR in my 200m, I'm so thankful
Congrats, that's awesome!
this video made me push harder and get a pr of 16:30 in my 5k race
Thomas Harrell i can never understand how people can run 5 min miles..ive been running for a while but my best is 7 min miles. ans thats me giving it my all. Only way i can go past 7 is if i sprint and gas out eh
@@bobjohnson6131 it takes years of hard work and dedication that's all I can tell you. I'm going for a sub 5 mile this year and I want it bad
FrostFlakejr can I ask something? When you are running a half marathon or a marathon or even a few miles. Do you feel like you are running at a 90% pace or what percent do you run at
@@bobjohnson6131 I run a 100%, which is race pace, don't get it mixed up with a sprint. But when I'm traing it could vary to 70-80-90-100, or even a sprint, it just depends what workout I'm doing.
@@bobjohnson6131 I don't know anyone who can race at 100% pace. Usually the goal is to hit a pace that you can run consistently for the distance you are racing. in a marathon or a half marathon, that pace is never 100%, as you would burn out before the finish. in the 100 meters however, its common for runners to give everything, as the race is so short. In longer distance you usually want to save your fastest pace for the very last sprint finish.
My fav. is: "If pain is temporary the quitting is forever"
ive grinded for my sport but never thought I could make it big, but I know I can try harder but never thought I’ve needed it and that even if I tried harder I’d never make it big but I’ve been searching for motivational videos to help me and I watch this and it’s as if my minds rewinded. I’m going to push myself harder
I appreciate you brother
I appreciate your words💯
"You either did something great or you didn't" I'm going to remember that. I just joined the cross country team and I'm having problems seeing the point of it and why I joined at all, and I think this summed it up. I'm tired of giving up, of quitting because I think I can't do it, before I've really tried. I'm tired of being that person.
this is absolutely incredible thank you for this !!
I love these quotes, so true
I've been listening to your channel every day for weeks now first thing when i wake up in the morning, just wanted to say thank you :)
Very welcome :) Thanks for listening
