I always marvel at how full and expressive Mark's playing is while maintaining such superb dynamic control. Any band he's in can burn at any volume they want.
yes, awesome is a good word here. Mark Walker should be a name every drummer knows, cat is a great player.
Love It!! 😍
Excelente versión!!
Hey Mark,
You guys sound AWESOME!
Cheers!
ok!!! du grant art ,et la batterie samba et vraiment excellente :félicitation ...!!!
Nice playing ! Why not record those vids in HQ?
What I appreciate besides the virtuosity in its own right, is the audio in modern quality.
The baseline version from Stan Getz with Chick on piano, while great.suffers from tinny audio.
This tune, along with 500 Miles High was not a staple for Chick when he had better engineering and tech options.
HEY! I'm trying to learn this song and I can't keep up with the original recording from Chick's album. Can you care to elaborate the drum pattern? It'd be a huge help!
I'm playing samba, and you can find a free lesson here: ua-cam.com/video/ovxIKYnyjng/v-deo.html
Please check out www.markwalkerlessons.com. There is a free masterclass that breaks down samba.
Could anybody play the drum part better? Nope.
