The dealer put my frame sliders incorrectly. They used the long slider on the right instead of the left. Thank god I saw this video and one more doing it the same way. I hope they didn’t throw the original bolts away to safely swap sides. Had I know it was this easy to install, I would have done it myself.
For people watching at home. Make sure you use a torque wrench, the torque for those 2x engine mounting bolts is 60 N.M Or at the very least use a slight drop of Loctite.
Great video man. I just recently put a deposit on an MT09. After seeing your video I went a little crazy and bought a few Evotech items 😄 I got the radiator guard, frame sliders, front fork axel slider, rear spindle slider and a tail tidy.
@mt0h9 no worries at all haha. Yeah i got it man with an akro. 2 months after buying, dropped it when i misjudged my speed when pulling into my driveway. Well i guess i can thank you for the evotech frame sliders which saved my bike 😀 Look forward to your video champ.
@@rionelrodrigues2888 Ouch man. Sorry to hear you dropped it. Thankfully the frame sliders worked! Have a blessed day/evening wherever you are in the world my friend!!! :D
I recently picked up the same bike in the same colour! Only done 200 ish miles. Absolute monster of a machine, BUT an absolute bitch to keep clean!!! 🤣
Careful with installing thus sliders. I was on the dealership last day for the first service of my xsr900. One of the bikes they’re servicing was a mt09 which has a crack on its frame, they concluded that it is because of this very same evotech sliders. My guess is the owner didn’t use the correct torque when he installed it.

Thanks man. I am in Australia. Hope you have a blessed day too brother 😀
I know this was 2 years ago, but I'll say Id also put on the gbracing engine cover set.
Hy ! I live in Belgium and I wonder how long did you have to wait for your framesliders ?? Kind regards !
These look good
They are the best looking in my opinion. They look even better in person and make the bike look way more aggressive ;)!
Did you use the silver washer from the original bolt? If you remember Lool
Lol here's me replying 2 years too late. Hope you got it sorted in the end 👍
Very neat
Hey mate, what bar end mirror do you have? 👌🏽
These are just cheap ones I found online. They've held up for 3 years easily. Sorry I do not know the brand ;(!
good 👍
Just got my 22 09sp man and I need to get some sliders asap and also a screen protector for the dash !!! As It’s already got a nick in it :/
Screen protector is a must! :( sad for the nick in it already!
Hello, will you tell me the dimensions so that I can try to make them myself
careful bro, put an alternator cover because the evotech wont save that in a drop.. it will scratch 100precent
What tools did you use to install these?
Just a ratchet and a hand hex. But of a amateur way of doing it but they are still solid as hell

Agreed. Just got it tuned and slapped a Mivv X-M5 onto it, video's coming soon :D
