Ya kinda weird they did that, but most companies do ask this to see the regions and for marketing purposes I'm sure. But of course, the decision is up to the players

Just for information purposes the cookie with the boomerang is named Plantain Cookie. They were introduced during the closed mobile beta as an NPC but not playable. And the one from ovenbreak in the end screenshot was Pistachio Cookie.
