We need to accept that business executives aren't the folks who should be leading thought leadership on AI. We need more technical people up front.

I agree but both. Tech / exec / strategy working together

Can someone explain how companies like Accenture act like they are AI experts when they are not the developers of it? I would rather get info from the source: OpenAI, Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, etc

Agreed. The "AI thought leader" circuit needs many more developers. Making a video about this soon, it's so frustrating to see.

True but you don't need to know the internals to use it.

Accenture are the experts in how it is applied to real world situations, thats where they will specialise

@@dan_taninecz_geopol I am also, I think the OP wasn’t sure where consulting companies sit with regard to AI. Many companies out there in the chain of AI development, delivery and operations.

0:52 - Julie is spot on here
However, there is a better resolution than unscalable workshops.
Leaders like CEOs and Directors actually need data architectures that help them Articulate the expected duty they desire from their regency.

It starts with workshops becase right now it's feasible but you're right down the road that is not scalable. They can get away with it right now because no one knows what to do with it and therein lies the opportunities.

Companies like Accenture are talking about AI not in a vacuum, critics below, but in partnerships with those creators in the Tech Sector. It is a matter of what companies like Accenture do best and what firms like Google do best; not that one company is cornering the AI IP in the marketplace. If you don't understand how Technical Services are sold, implemented, and delivered, you shouldn't stand on a "high-horse" preaching about the need to knock large enterprises and their market-led activities.

So, @JulieSweet is suddenly an AI expert? A couple of years ago she wasn't talking about it. She knows not the first thing about it. Shouldn't we get the people building these systems to talk more than 'flower girls' (or guys but she is a girl, afterall) like Sweet

Accenture knows nothing about AI, AI is the trend for the next 5 years, it is not going to disrupt most industries.

If AI can eliminate useless white collar tech work that would be great. They get paid too much for nothing. Tech hasn't made anything useful for years and somehow they get paid a lot for it. I can't wait to see tech continue to shrink. Hopefully it motivates people to learn real jobs again. Finance Bros are in trouble also which is a great thing
