  • Spoiler alert: This is my first product review that I decided to RETURN the product. In summary, I think this is a boujee version of the mister kool II with a price tag of almost double. With anything it has its ups and downs but it doesn't achieve the dancing on a cloud/low lying fog effect anywhere near what a nimbus or nimbus Jr can do!

it dmx fine I use it all the time, I use dry ice works great also the CFM for this machine is about 1/4 or the Nimbus so you can get 4 of them to have more CFM than the Nimbus , plus last all night long not just 5 min and you don't have to be running around with the nimbus to make the effect, plus buying 4 of them cost less than a nimbus

I have used this machine at a few weddings, it's jus ok tbh. Kind of embarrassing when you don't get the heavy fog that you want .. it's rises too quickly. I am going to try it with actual dry ice and chauvets fog fluid to see if it works better.

Probably won't, I would try distilled water over fog fluid with dry ice. But I wouldnt risk that at an event I would try at home first. Ultimately I think this machine heavily overpromises and under delivers

Unfortunately venues in my area don't really listen to DJ's on that. Hence fog is a no go

Well yeah, if you use fog fluid in any fog machine, it's not going to stay on the ground the entire time. Once the initial evaporated dry ice dissipates, you'll be left with just fog juice and it's lighter than O2 and it will float. I'm looking for a dry ice fogger that is "on demand" and fully operational with a wireless remote, I haven't found one yet. It needs to be able to keep the water hot (so must have heating element) and keep it separate from the dry ice but contained in the unit so that it cane produce the fog on demand in the middle of the show. It is just me and I don't have the luxury to stop what I'm doing and fill up a machine with dry ice and fuss with the machine in the middle of the show, I need a remote control I can just push the button and presto....get fog! If someone comes out with a machine like that, happy to pay good $$ for it!

You would need basically a machine with a massive heating element, circulator and conveyor belt for the dry ice, otherwise the ice will sublimate in the basket and need to be refilled, even still I'm not sure it would work since the ice is so much colder than the water, the water would need to be at boiling all the time, which is extremely power intensive. I would suggest you pay someone to fill the machine up and run it for you
