Beautiful lanterns, Mindy! FYI in Garden City, NY, where I grew up, we called the folded up paper with the messages inside, "cootie catchers." I have no idea why.

these are cute. but can you come up with a pattern that does not use dies??? dies are becoming more and more expensive, yet, some of the projects can certainly be done with out dies.

:*( ... ouch, expensive. I will attempt to make my own cuts, and try to do something similar. It is truly lovely tho. I can but dream, as I really do not have the funds to buy those dies.

the heavier the better. she used 110lb. if you have lighter cardstock, just double up the layers:)
