It´s interesting because, when you watch the story of this game, Darius don´t only used you, but also used Kenji, Wolf and Angie in the race where the protagonist left the city the night of the accident.

Well, he probably believed Kenji, Angie and Wolf were more suited for the job. After all, they were bosses of their own territories before you come in and take it all from them.

Darius was the one that invited them back to Palmont with a chance to get back at you. Think about it this way; You're a very prominent racer with a good crew and take part in a high stakes street race. All of a sudden before the finish, your and 2 other racers cars get EMP'd and you all get arrested. But not the fourth guy. You just see Nikki run over to his car and throw him the cash, then escape via help from a police officer. Not only does it look like the race, police ambush and his escape were rigged in his favour, but he also takes your money. It takes you some time, but eventually you build your crew back up and regain your territory back from the other crews that took it while you were in prison. All of a sudden, that fourth guy shows up with a crew of his own and takes all of your territory. You have no choice but to face him one on one in the canyons. He beats you. Your crew basically disintegrates from within and there's nobody left. Most leave to join other crews like Rotor4 and the Scorpios. He takes your car. You have nothing left in Palmont, so you are basically cast out of the city. And now imagine you get a call from a powerful player in Palmont. He was there that night, he organized the race. He has the best crew in the city. He offers you a car, a place in his crew and a chance to get your revenge. Doesn't sound too far fetched to me. I feel like Angie, Wolf and Kenji just didn't want to accept the truth that was infront of them. Even if they did find out Darius rigged it all, we/the player have still destroyed their crew and took everything away from. I don't I would really forgive the player either if that happened to me in real life.
Excellent driving dude! I played it on my old PS2 and I just started again on Xbox 360, you have some incredible talent dude. In the 3 races you did, you only used a couple splashes of nitrous while I'd have used tanks upon tanks! And on top of that, you overtook Darius! Great driving!

This glorious Series finally needs a reboot. Most Wanted and Carbon were such amazing games. They just worked as they should and were fun to play. The pursuits were amazing and the tuning was just fun (at least in MW). The newer NFS Titles do not even get close to how good those games were. They may look better but they are by far not as fun and addicting as these were. EA would literally make millions if they would make a GOOD remaster of Most Wanted. Same game, current technology with more an modern cars, more tuning and maybe a bigger map. The rest can't very well stay the way it is. I would be first to buy that. The 2012 "Most Wanted" was a joke of a game. It never even got fixed and still has weird bugs and visual glitches.
TehFocus They try to focus on a good story on 12 and the run. But, unfortunately, 12 fail because of financial crisis(although I love the story) and the run fail because the story is not good enough. I think they are done with focusing on story line right now.
I feel like this game could really use a remastered version and get expanded upon, people say mw needs one, while i wouldn’t disagree if you get a 1920x1080 p mod and could get rid of the orangish tint the game is honestly perfect, this game get rid of the stupid tire squeak every time I turn the wheel made want to kms, the characters also need to be made more boss feeling, like you get 3 bosses who aren’t hard to beat then you see them again in the end of the game but instead of being a big reveal it’s like oh ok the 3 characters who got personalities came back. Not to mention my first time playing this I beat it in like 6 hours, then the disgusting character models inside the car, ik it was 2006 but common angies face is disgusting and when she drives that charger she looks so out of place. Also I get that they got better cars and that’s why they get harder to beat, but cars shouldnt have ranks that limit them for example the rx7 is known to be one of the best touge racing cars ever including when compared to modern cars and that what canyon battles are touge races, but back to what the the cars they drive I think that’s stupid they each ran an equally big part of the city so why didn’t they upgrade their rides beforehand, I feel like they should get mini bosses of their crew so that they feel like a boss, also get rid of the crew system and use the characters as mini bosses I cannot state how many times these guys rubberbanded passed me and honestly I didn’t use the crew options much because a lot of time they became inconvenient or hard to use during a race not to mention the premise of someone who’s on your team in street race who is racing next to you so there might be 8 racers butt only 4 teams it just doesn’t make that much sense. Also the cops literally was chased a handful of times and almost always evaded them in less than a minute, like I know this isn’t most wanted so getting in with the cops isn’t a very big deal but at then why even make heat levels and such a thing. Also tunning was whack in this game as you had to tune when you bought a new part, also customization with the manufacture parts and aftermarket was cool but also confusing at times. Last thing the story would be better if we got to race during the flashback, like game starts off back then you have like 6 races while you become known driving Darius Supra you hear about 3 other racers who are also racking up hype. Then you race Kenji, Angie and wolf disperse the cut scenes into the race that way it feels like you do in fact know the characters and it’s not like hey remember me the character you saw for 5 seconds yeah well I’m pissed at you. Then that way you come back and it’s like oh those guys who were getting known during the race became the ones that own the city, also by giving them mini bosses when you see them again racing for Darius it’s like oh wow he got the other 3 BIG bosses to work for him not just the other 3 characters. Sorry for the long post it’s just I want to like this game but it could easily have been so much more, this game is definitely a downgrade from most wanted but could have been as good or even better.

I used to be strictly import. Darius was difficult for me to keep up with on a Skyline. I switched to a Challenger and smoked him first try. It's surprisingly controllable once you get the hang of it. It was for that reason that I've grown to love the Dodge Challenger to this day. :)

Its 2024 and still one of the best nfs games every made along side with nfs mw and gotta give props to darius he actually accepts his defeat compared to the other ones that the player went against (razor and the other ones he went against in nfs games)

I used to be strictly import. Darius was difficult for me to keep up with on a Skyline. I switched to a Challenger and smoked him first try. It's surprisingly controllable once you get the hang of it. It was for that reason that I've grown to love the Dodge Challenger to this day. :)

13:34 after beating darius i mark those words ,and one day someone beat me on initial d arcade stage where is my guide to play this game, that i knowingly the race against dairus will be tougher than any arcade stage npc's ,and the time he beat me just not disappointing but being humble always remeber this words that you are not only the god level of driving in any racing games or even actual racing there will be more little faster driver than you are.

Its 2024 and still one of the best nfs games every made along side with nfs mw and gotta give props to darius he actually accepts his defeat compared to the other ones that the player went against (razor and the other ones he went against in nfs games)

@@LegendarySnipez7000 It's easy if you beat Darius by using Tuner cars. Exotics are a bad choice to beat him, except one. The SLR McLaren is a good Exotic to beat him.
