I think that having quests for like obtaining items and trading for accessories is good, but definitely not adding levels and using levels to obtain items. I think levels would just be a bad system overall because then players wouldnt be kind to low leveled people and that kind of stuff. And if there were levels I don’t want to see an option to pay to get levels… we see enough of pay to win. Still, I am super excited to see how all this will work 👀
Yeah also the whole level thing would pull the game away from the RP aspect. Which in my opinion is why me and so many other people even play this game in the first place. and I agree with the making the community toxic towards lower leveled people thing.
Yeah i definitely get that. For some reason kids tend to pick on other kids that have kess than them. Used to happen a lot on Animal Jam, still happens a lot on other Roblox games.
@@axe5745 that happens alot on a game called Dragon Adventures. It leads to alot of toxic beggers, people who can't seem to understand what no means, want everything for free, people who will keep pressuring and or guilt tripping others, and alot of other issues. Beggers are already annoying beacuse almost 100% of the time they want the best of the best dragons, those being season and event dragons. Those, as the name suggests, take alot of time to grind for during the events/seasons (taking almost the entire season, about 30 days per season). Or you have to grind 1 milion+ coins to buy them from the auction. Prices do vary depending on supply and demand, with new dragons selling for around or over 1 mil, older or less popular dragons sell for much less even if they are new. They can cost more if they are mutated, default colored, legendary colored/have legendary eyes (just makes them change colors), pure color and material, or have themed colors. This game used to have levels where new people couldn't trade dragons, cohatch, or I think go to the auction. Level 25 would unlock cohatching, and 35 would let you trade dragons. They got rid of levels I don't know how long ago but people still have that toxic mindset.
I like this idea, but I really hope they don't add a levelling system, as people at higher levels might start to see people at lower levels as bad RPers just for having low levels, and also I hope they don't make it so cool items are locked behind a gamepass pay-wall
Tbh I’m not sure how I feel about the ‘levels’ and ‘farming’. I really like this game as a role-play game, and I think most the EA Editing community will agree with me when I say that it’ll be annoying to have people farming or trying to beat bosses and whatnot while filming. Also also, I think the levels would be hard because then everyone will have to level up to access certain things. Though trading morphs or accessories sounds fun.
i love the trading and morph swap idea, but the leveling doesn't sound like a good idea.. it could make people seem like they are bad at rping (especially if they are newer players.) But also practice makes perfect as well, if someone isn't very good at it they won't be able to practice as much with the leveling. There should be bosses and such but maybe where nobody will be in the way of filming. Kinda like how creatures of sonaria have it with some of the bosses. Where it teleports you to a location high up where the arena is. I'm sure that will be much smoother for gameplay for those who don't want to do the bosses.
Tbh I joined mainly to rp but quests would be fun since everyone’s running out of rp ideas and I’d like to see how the trading system would play into the game!
I love wings of fire, really fun game, the community is pretty sweet, but I would hate to see if become a farming game. A lot of these ideas are super cool, but adding farming and trading into a roleplay game stereotypically never ends well
I hope that the roleplaying aspect of the game won't disappear because if people are farming for levels and such then it will be hard for people to do roleplays when everyone else is farming, so I hope that you just need to do quests to get items and you don't need to grind.
Something I will say is that whatever happens, they should not add trading items. It would turn the game into a marketplace like that one Griffin game (which was good, but most people just want to trade).
Since some people like to RP more, and some prefer to sort of level up more, what if they could create two different type of 'servers' so that different it can fit what different players might want?
The aspect of adding tradable items you can also drop would also help the roleplay aspect too, for example if you wanted to drop X item, you can if it's an in game item.
I'm personally fine with it, but I think they should add separate servers for RP or for questing. Felandia did this and it really helped with the lack of roleplay.
Honestly I'm really excited and happy about this change and I just met an admin in-game today and the mudwing model is looking amazing so far woohoo go devs and I asked them questions like will there be more kingdoms added to the map and will the two new kingdoms ice and sand kingdom (and yes they're going to add the icewing kingdom next) have sandstorms and snowstorm the admin said they're going to add snowstorm effects to the map.
Ooooo! This would probably get me back into the swing of things! No rp has caught my interest as of recent, so this would definitely get my interest peaked again!
Honestly I love the idea of adding more to the WoF game, but I hope they don’t add too much to distract you from role playing, like please… do not add trading, because everyone see’s what trading does to a game when it’s added (let’s look at adopt me and Royale High) complicated trade rules and stuff- and then people won’t roleplay, and the game will get boring when your finished with everything. Though I get bored because the map is so small… I know it takes forever to make new maps and I’m excited- but that’s really most of what I’m waiting for. The game itself is amazing already, and I wouldn't want it to turn out like Shard Seekers, as you said.

I hope that it doesn’t become a full mmorpg. Personally I’m not a big fan of farming since it’s so tiring. For me to farm I have to force myself to do it. I might start with it, thinking it’s a bit fun but I quickly grow tired.
I'm worried it's just gonna become Felandia. Either they make rp servers and they're just empty cause everyone's farming. Or it's gonna be come laggy as fuck for me and make it unplayable.
I haven’t been on wof in a while but I know that I’ve been playing it for a while. I remember that when I joined the last tribe added was the sand wing o.o
I hope it doesn’t add excessive grinding, sure obtaining stuff should be a challenge but it should be fun and not over the top like many roblox games like to do it sadly
Are the developers in college or junior/senior year - even I understand that they have only 3/4 devs on the team, but that is still a good amount. I feel like their progress should be moving faster and that they might being lazy with the project. I feel like they made it seem they would keep updating constantly and being dedicated. But the way they handle it makes it seem likes it only just something they work on when they feel like they are in the right mood. Feels like it will never be finished or will only be finished by 2040 if they keep going at this rate.
Levels and trading in roleplay games is a horrible idea. Take a look at Griffin's Destiny, hardly any roleplays that last longer then 20-30 minutes. Everyone's busy trading, afk leveling, or showing off their levels and accessories.
I got banned from wof because of something dumb I did when I was younger so- now I can’t do anything haha.. I regret it. It wasn’t anything too bad, but I still feel bad
I think they should have different modes of game. RP mode, where everything is free since it’s a rp And then another mode where you can do quests, follow a storyline, etc
All i know is that I’m going to grind for every accessory, and i knew something was going on because i was hanging with the devs and they were acting suspicious
This might be fun for some people, but really what I only want out of this is the bigger map and more quests. Levels? No, please no levels, WoF devs. There's no point in adding levels to a roleplay game and it really will just attract more toxic people to the game if it was like this. Maybe it could be another gamemode type thing (servers with different gamemodes are set apart from eachother) But I personally just hate this-

I'm worried it's just gonna become Felandia. Either they make rp servers and they're just empty cause everyone's farming. Or it's gonna be come laggy as fuck for me and make it unplayable.
exactly the direction i hoped it would go! this looks awesome i cant wait
I haven’t been on wof in a while but I know that I’ve been playing it for a while. I remember that when I joined the last tribe added was the sand wing o.o
i don't want this to become a level-grindy game, farming ruined Griffin's Destiny imo.
I hope it doesn’t add excessive grinding, sure obtaining stuff should be a challenge but it should be fun and not over the top like many roblox games like to do it sadly
I am super excited for that, i love leveling rpgs and such, its gonna add a lot of fun to the game.
I really want quests because I loved getting acc!
I hope the new update comes in exideted!
please don't let this game turn into griffins destiny, no roleplays, just people farming for cash and accessories :(
I'd like to see the map expansion and trading, but not the farming and stuff.
If you have seen or read Arch's recent post. She's suffering through burnout
Spare her days dude
This is so exciting!! I love MMOs, and it would be amazing to have a WoF one
Wof st: I WAS MADE A YEAR AGO AND IM EXACTLY THAT!!!
@@Starvaze IK I play Seven Thrones all the time I just think something new would be fun
@@TheOneAndOnlyCode _mMmm_ ok
That’s fine with me as long as there’s a roleplay mode
I agree with that!
Maybe it could be like Felandia
@@ErisGekko Maybe... It will be awesome to see it progress!
Agreed I like role play but actual gameplay would be fantastic
Wof tj: I lost...once I come ro life. I would have lost
WOF PT: speek for yourself
WOF ROK: Amateurs
There's a game effectively pulling this off right now- a few actually. Maybe they'll take inspiration from there.
I only hope that the trading isn’t going to turn the game into adopt me crap
Mudwings are looking epic!!
Still waiting for the basic browns and milky whites. Let's face it
We'll be able to make coffee-like fades on mudwings someday
Wow thank you for Making this video and telling us about this!
Bro look how many Coins/fish scales he has
I reckon it’s going to gradually change into an mmorpg
Jeez this game’s development is even slower than the isle’s!
I haven't played the game (because it's not free lol) but this sounds great
Yooo world of warcraft, once you referenced it my mind went to world of warcraft dragonflight lol
Levels and trading in roleplay games is a horrible idea.
Take a look at Griffin's Destiny, hardly any roleplays that last longer then 20-30 minutes.
Everyone's busy trading, afk leveling, or showing off their levels and accessories.
Lag: Bonjour
This is awesome! Thanks for the update!
Can I ask something of the Developers of Wings of fire on roblox: UN-BAN ME.
What game is this, and how have I not seen it sooner
Roblox Wings of Fire Early Access
Check it out!
I got banned from wof because of something dumb I did when I was younger so- now I can’t do anything haha..
I regret it. It wasn’t anything too bad, but I still feel bad
I'm sorry to hear that.
~woah~
Tbh i only really wanna play wof when mudwings come back out i have not played it for ages
I’m excited for the upcoming updates, also Dragontypes your awesome 👍😊😎👏 and here are some fries 🍟
Yummy fries!!!
"2 mo ago"
I think they should have different modes of game.
RP mode, where everything is free since it’s a rp
And then another mode where you can do quests, follow a storyline, etc
Like Feilandia?
Like how the jurny is poswaying thier game?
@@Starvaze idk, I don’t play Feilandia
@@Equine_Daydreamer Mm.
honestly i dont think they can pull off an MMO-RPG with how slow development can be.
Mmorpg means there will be fighting and more gameplay right?
Oh boy.....if Arch plans on doing this
Please girl hire more devs...otherwise you're gonna over do yourself.
Do you have any idea when we will be getting scavengers back?
Mhm after leafwing?
I mean personally I love the idea, it would make me want to play the game more (imo) but it sure would make the game annoying
All i know is that I’m going to grind for every accessory, and i knew something was going on because i was hanging with the devs and they were acting suspicious
We're they saying things like
"Oh you'll find out. Hehe"
Cus that was ArchArch....and thrushflight aswell as. Corvidia?
Grinding for accessories? Cringe.
@@Starvaze no, they were like trying not to drag any attention to development and not trying to give anything away
@@owlboy8x469 Ok
So happy about this!
Me too!
Tbh I don't know if roblox could support something that large. Believe me, I've tried.
i legit dont care about the rest of this i just want the mudwings back :,)
This might be fun for some people, but really what I only want out of this is the bigger map and more quests.
Levels? No, please no levels, WoF devs. There's no point in adding levels to a roleplay game and it really will just attract more toxic people to the game if it was like this.
Maybe it could be another gamemode type thing (servers with different gamemodes are set apart from eachother)
But I personally just hate this-
this game needs a complete staff rework
Wooooohoooooo!
when you look at the thumbnail and see if the game is free but it isn't lol
oh, cool sovs
When?
I hope soon. It would be exciting to see some big updates on the game!
@@t.copright9035 same I’m so excited
Probably after Or With the mudwing
Will they ever make it free to play
They need hybrids.
That’s all.
I think the Devs stated that they won't add hybrids but there are other WoF games that will have hybrids (they are in wip tho)
@@anonymouscheeseslice6546 *demonic screaming*
@@wonderstorm116 hybrids need models. And models are formed in blender more models come more animations more animations comes more tears fir the devs to work with. Hence why The journey has A GAINT developing team
@@Starvaze you mean the journey?
@@ArsonosCraze sleep deprivation gets the best of me...
please don’t add a leveling systeeemmMMm….
That's right
-Feather family-
Creatures of sonaria
And griffins destiny
Will all three have a new competitor
@@Starvaze dont compare feather family to those, feather family is actually interesting if you roleplay in the realism servers (dont be an egg cause thats just boring)
If Wof EA gets a levels update including farming (unless it's fun and not just grind grind grind grind) I'm probably gonna stop playing the game cuz I know it would become extremely annoying and difficult and toxic players would become extremely common in the game. Quests and trading is fine it's just the levels and farming I don't think will be a good idea
I’m so excited 😆
