Great to show us your project, very inspirational and helpful to continue on our projects. You've got some advanced ideas incorporated into your Long EZ.
@@mackdlite5900 I wish I could say I had gotten as far as Wade has. Truth is, after acquiring JT (flying LongEZ) I have spent the last four years making it a better, more capable airplane, and haven't done much work on my own project. When you are finished watching Wade's videos hop on to Crivo152 on UA-cam to see my latest work on JT.
Hi. It's not a kit, but rather an airplane built from plans. Some parts can be bought pre-made, like the gear struts and the engine cowlings, but nearly all the rest is hand built.
Not sure how much it weighed at this exact point. I'd estimate as shown in the video with fuselage, gear and wheel assemblies at around 150 lbs. That's a swag. Estimated final weight is just over 1000 lbs.
Wade, You have one lovely project! Very organized. Also everything is clean! I am starting to build a Long. Was building the roll bar pretty straight forward?
Thanks for the kind words Trystyn! There is a bit of a "standard version," if you will, of the 4130 steel roll bar that a lot of builders make & install in their Long-EZs. I would consider mine more of a one off version since it's my own design. Fairly straight forward? Yes. Time consuming? Definitely yes! (Plan on a considerable increase in build time for a 4130 roll bar... definitely worth it in my book though!)

Thanks Sirvando. Good to know my videos are helpful. Good luck on your project!
Great to see all the details. Enjoyable to have the walk around - thanks! Excellent workmanship. Well done.
+Dave Berenholtz Thanks Dave! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!

I loved the walkthrough Wade (it reminds me how far behind I still am), and congratulations on the first raising of the nose, it's looking great.
+Crivo152 Thanks Brother. She's getting there. Slow but steady, eh?
Hi Crivo152 how is your long ez build going?

Marc - Little correction, Ken Miller did not design the Adjustable rudder pedals. I did. Ken has bought the system from me.
Hi Dale, yeah I corrected that on my website.... didn't remember it being in the video. -Wade
Where did you buy the kit

Question: What was the approximate weight as she was in this video ?

será que consigo comprar o projeto ? alguem pode me sugerir.
Hi Werner, sorry the project is not for sale. I would check Barnstormers for any projects available to buy. Thanks for watching!
