Hot springs and spas in US require bathing suits unless its like private area. But in school gym class, literally no one showers because there's no time and our gym classes aren't that hard. Even sports practice, most students just shower at home afterwards. In the locker rooms, everyone is very awkward so even with the girls, we try to change super fast to gym clothes or some would change in the toilet stall
Americans in public bath places will keep their underwear on, usually most of the time, we have a bathing suit on and we shower like that with it on. Gym-wise I don’t shower there. I wait until I get home. We are more discreet about being naked and not show ourselves in front of children or young people (minors).
In school lockerrooms yeah. Most guys just wet their hair and call it a day. Getting naked in front of classmates was still pretty weird when I was in MS/HS from 2010-2017. I think only the swim team and waterpolo were the only large groups that felt comfortable getting naked.
Us Americans do WHAT?? Please tell me he's joking. No one showers with their underwear on. 😂😂 Kinda sorta familiar with the show, but I've only seen clips really.
I think he was talking about gyms, specifically in high school. I could see that happening. We definitely aren’t as open about being naked around others as Koreans are with their public bathhouses
This is fairly common in Canada, most locker rooms have extra stalls because no one wants to change in the open and being okay without underwear is generally seen as weird
Also he's thinking how US schools were like over 20years ago. So usually now, there's wall barrier or curtain for more privacy showering. But almost everyone showers at home after school. And most people change in toilet stalls because we aren't comfortable seeing each other change
@@sparklessss26 Eeeexactly. Showering with underwear on is crazy. Where do you put the wet clothes at when you're done?? Not everyone has gym as last period. So, that's why I was confused. 😄
We do not shower with our underwear on wtf this is why I hate when idols who haven’t been in America in years tell Koreans about America bc they always say shit that doesn’t apply to everyone or is outdated
