I bought my ego mower 9 years ago and the original battery is still good with maybe 20% reduced capacity. I now own the full line of ego products and they have been great
Glad to hear it! My father in law had an ego when they first came out and thought it was strange to buy an electric lawnmower but gotta say I too am very satisfied with product. Thank for your comment
This is my 3rd winter with this snow blower. With dry snow its fine, but heavy wet snow is absolutely terrible. I had just under a foot of wet snow last week and the amount of pushing and pulling I had to do to get through that snow was equivalent to using a shovel. My back is still sore. I ordered the 24in model cause this model aint cutting it.
You’re correct. The wet snow is this machine’s nemesis. It does struggle. I typically have dry fluffy snow where I live in Colorado. Let me know how that 24” works for you. Thanks for your comment. Please subscribe if you haven’t already.
I just got my 22" mower hoping i can try it on the weekend,we also have and echo lawn mower the my wife got on a good deal with 2 batteries and rapid charger is just like the greenwork 60v and so far is working great but i can let the ego deal pass regular price is $1,200 i only pay $700 with a 10ah battery and charger
Do you have to use any snow jet since you got steel augers? Which auger material do you recommend: steel, rubber, plastic I’m in NY where we get lake effect snow, wet/heavy and some light
So far I’ve not had to use snow jet. I’m thankful for that. I’m curious if the plastic elements on my EGO prevent some snow sticking. I’ll watch for that. I’ve only owned steel auger snow blowers. Hitting the occasional ice chunk, hard snow embankment and the occasional landscaping rock I’d suggest steel or rubber augers.
2 stage are big and expensive. I like them but not sure I need it. I’ll be the first one doing a video of this machine overloaded. Hope this ego explodes in a million pieces but till then this is a rugged snow blower for what it is

Can you use the 10 amp batteries?
