That’s where my mum is from a tiny house in the mountains. When she got to 18 she left for England and that’s where we are now , it’s a stunning stunning place and proud of my roots
County Donegal is our favorite area in all of Ireland. If we were to move there, it would be somewhere there. Stunning is the exact right word to describe it. Glad we got to show you a little slice of your roots. We want to go back now that we actually video things instead of mostly take photos 😀
@@MagellanandGreyhound it was really nice to see , my mum still goes back to visit and then the tears flow as i guess home is where the heart will always be and I like that . Great channel and subscribed thanks
@@Watfordfc71 thank you! I was trying to bring my dad over, but then the pandemic happened. Our family moved from Cork to New York a century ago, but we have roots in several areas. The diaspora is very large. You’re right about home is always where the heart is.
@@MagellanandGreyhound I used to go over as a kid and it was just magical with my mum and sister , trouble was when they got older most kids would turn into adults and leave for the bi go cities lol some went to Philadelphia and some to London like my mum . I have family there and I’m USA , my name is Kieron a proper Irish name , lovely to say hello from across the pond 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇮🇪
That's one of the downsides to modern travel - very easy to just move across the world. Famine ships weren't exactly luxury accommodation. And hello Kieron across the pond. My name is Bryan, a slightly altered American spelling of a proper Irish name 😀
What a happy and lucky man. My friend have nice journey 💟
Thank you!

How long did it take to walk up to the signal tower?
Oh boy, it’s been awhile. I don’t remember it taking too long. Maybe an hour or so to get up there
