An empty fridge with no mini bar is a bonus. Most people aren't going to pay the outrageous prices for mini bar drinks so you go to CVS or Walgreens and load up on soda, juices and water (or beers) and keep them cold. I have never worn a hotel robe or slippers. Wearing something countless of others have worn doesn't appeal to me.
Yea that is true mini bars are very overpriced however I feel it would just make the experience more enjoyable for some people.
Braveness shows when you walk around a hotel room with carpet barefoot! (Yeah, socks does not really count.)
