I used to listen to this at work and been singing it for about 13 years, but I couldn't remember who sang it. Today I sang it and posted it on Facebook asking if an old coworker could remember who sang it. She knew. And I am so happy to hear it again!
I ve been a country musuc fan for 60 years and this song is my all time favorite still sing snd sing this song all the time because i get request for it all the time thank you for this song.It discribes exactly how l felt when my husband passed away when my husband passed away 2 years ago
Brooks you're still amazing......I remember the Lil dude that picked up the guitar for the first time and "gave us a show" amazing then too. we all knew you were destined for greater things that the rest of us just dreamt about. Very proud to watched you and followed you through out life and seen the amazing man....father.....and person you've become. Great things can come out of small rural east Texas towns such as ours. I'm very glad to be able to call you one of my oldest and dearest friends. Wish you much more success and continued blessings. NOW CAN WE GET MORE MUSIC AND NEW CD PLEASE?????? Luvz ya.....
I already know how amazing Brooks Atwood is. I have his autographed cd since 2004. I hear it on the radio on and I caked the stationed to find out who sang it, then I looked him up on the interment and ordered about 6 of them. My brothers, my children, my mother, and I have enjoyed all the music on the cd. Brooks is snagging. This was my daddy favorite song....and it was just or on the radio when my dad passed away. He wanted this played at his funeral but we couldn't get the cd in time. Thank you, Edenia Wisdom
