1969 Fender Bandmaster Mod

I've been excited about this project for a week and thought it might take a few days. When I started, I couldn't stop. One long day got it playable. Back first thing the next morning to rewire the speakers with better wire. I have played it for hours in the last two days. It sounds amazing. Well worth the effort. Demo will be forthcoming.

I hate to admit it, but since I did it, I left it in and have traveled with it twice with only the 8” speakers. It sounds great.

I thought about doing the same as I have the same exact amp. Mine comes with 2 JBL 15" speaker cabinet where the head mounts onto the cab with two bolts.

I did this 6 months ago using Celestion Super 8.

Plz only try a 15” speaker 8 ohm.
Your cabinet will be, plz don’t take it places….
