It was nearly everyone favorite. That was the problem! Nobody gave a damn about the rest of the show. I mean Theresa had a ton of fans, but E/T werent bigger than Shuis as a pair.
Shuis were the most amazing couple this stupid show had! No wonder it got cancelled, because the show changed who they were as characters, and ruined them as a pair. they were the Nicki/Victor Sonny/Brenda of Passions, and they refused to reunite them. Even the actors said it was stupid, not to have them be together in the end! The show lost a good 40% of the show when they put Sheridan with Chris, and Luis with Fancy, and making Sheridan the bad guy.
I once read that Sheridan was supposed to turn out to be Beth in a Sheridan mask and Beth had Sheridan locked up, but when she escapes she and Luis reunite. They said that they didn't do it, because the actress that played Beth didn't want to come back. To me, that was a copout, because they could have gotten a recast. That show was full of recasts! The only couple that they got right was Theresa and Ethan.
You're so right! The only couple that deserved to end up together was Ethan&Theresa. Other than that, nobody else was perfect match. Kay did not deserve to marry Miguel, Ivy shouldn't have ended up with Sam, Sheridan and Antonio have no chemistry whatsoever, Fancy was too immature for Luis...and so on.
I know this soap was created to mock other soaps with ridiculous storylines, basically it’s a Spoof Soap but Shit I really didn’t like this show. Like I tried watching it and I couldn’t lol. Love Galen. He’s adorable and funny but I couldn’t watch this show.
Sheridan and Luis (Shuis) storyline wasn't a "spoof" though. They actually had very good early storylines that were written amazingly well. For most fans, they were the reason to watch the show when it premiered. I know most general soap viewers aren't into supernatural/ghosts/witches aspect, but the Shuis storyline didn't have that. They were given very honest (rich girl/poor guy obstacles) early on.
@@josephinem3086 yes, I don't get these american television writers, they tend to ruin beautiful couples. The same thing happened with Cruz and Eden, from soap opera Santa Barbara. They made her a multiple personality at the end so she left Cruz. And they adored each other throughout the series, just like Luis and Sheridan. They had similar chemistry.
Sheridan and Luis's couple is my favourite.

@@greenleo111 Exactly. They were the only reason I watched Passions - they should've left them together in the plot.
@@Sunflower-cb1sk i agree...breaking them up in the end just didn't make sense!!!
