- This video shows how to set up a standard 2" ratchet tightened slackline, with tree protection. The ideal distance for learning is around 25 feet. (The shorter and tighter the line is, technically the easier it will be.) Hope you guys enjoyed!

Isaiah 40: Verse 28-31 "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
Very helpful. We messed it up the first time trying to follow the written directions. Your video made it way more clear.
So glad you found it useful!
Excellent tutorial! Thoroughly and clearly describing and illustrating all necessary steps WITHOUT distracting babble or annoying music. Well done!
Thank you so much! I am glad you liked it!
Extremely helpful. Thanks so much for taking the time to make such a clear explanation of the process.
Great. I’m considering getting one. This video answered all my questions.
Glad to hear it!
Do it get one they’re alot of fun!
great video, just showing no bullshit talking etc, just pure simple information
Thank you :). Glad you liked it.
Glad you guys are finding this video helpful! I had annotations/captions on the video that explained it more thoroughly, but sadly, youtube decided to remove all annotations from their platform which deleted all of that information from many of my videos. My apologies. Hopefully, it is still clear enough as it is.
Still is. Thank you!
LOL, I thought it was wordless on purpose, so that anyone could understand it, without a language barrier getting in the way. It’s so well done as is; you don’t need words.
Way easier than I thought it'd be! Thanks!
Big thanks for this video, very helpful!!!❤
Thanks so much for making this video-! I just bought one and I had trouble setting it up…so this sure helps. Many thanks 😊

Bel video, molto istruttivo. Complimenti.
Thanks for the video :)
You are very welcome :).
Should the slackline tail continue through the crank when you crank the line or should you hold it and crank the line with it doubling back? .. Or does it make a difference? Thanks for the help
Looks like the first time you've ever come it

What racket strap did you use and where did you get it?
What ratchet strap did you use and where did you purchase it?
That was lowkey therapeutic tob watch lol
I didn't get the taco fold right the first time--thank you. What if the ground isn't level between the trees? How far off can they be for a beginner?
My pleasure, glad you got it :). Do you mean if the ground is a bit sloped? Just try to level the line as best as you can, you don't want to be walking uphill, or downhill on the line, it makes it pretty difficult. You can put it up higher on one tree to level it. As long as it is close to level, doesn't touch the ground when you walk on it, and doesn't present a danger if you fall off, then you are all set!
You may try using a string level.
thx
Hi, my barefoot slackfline is only tightening on one side so that it's super tight on one side and lose on the other so the line flops to one side. Do you know why this might be/what I can do about it?
Thanks
damn video still on youtube....
How tight should my line be?
I set mine up 50ft with a harness
Do I need the tree cushion? It doesn’t fit around my tree.
I bought Woodglut once and now I have lifetime access to thousands of woodworking projects.
