Too bad some of this "prettying up" couldn't have been done for the people who live here. Nearly 1/2 a billion dollar$$$ made in 2013 but we the taxpayers have seen none of it for our betterment.
As for Plaza Tower, wrapping it up like a mummy isn't improving anything, just tear the wretched thing down. City government better start listening to it's citizens because more and more are moving away to cities that better serve their needs and wants for a decent life.

Do you actually think city government care the least about what you want or need ???? Look at the mayor, city council and the rest of the leaches on the public payroll, do they act like they care about anything but themselves

Just visited N.O. for the first time, its ran down but such a beautiful place at the same time.. I fell in love, what a place! I hope the right people can get in charge and revive the infrastructure. I'd totally move there.
Reminds me of Xi's trip to San Francisco. A day later and everything will be back to 'normal'.
