@@lesneekeysnek9096 They have an over 15 year plan to expand south to the airport, to the west, to the southeast, to the northwest, and a little more on the northeast to get past the loop.

LOL, Canadian projects are so slow, this is unacceptable how long it takes from approval to completion. Can anyone explain why?
@@ruabossy4700 Stinginess of governments (not so much a problem now) + greed and laziness of construction companies (charging massive amounts of money + always delivering projects late + inferior construction materials).

Fact is Edmonton totally bungled it's LRT development. Calgary built there system complete all over the city in the 80s while Edmonton is spending billions more now to develop.

Sounds similar to what happened here in Vancouver, too little too late now they are trying to expand when they should’ve done it all back in 86
Wow, I was today years old when I realised the Edmonton LRT went underground. Fabulous. Hopefully the Québec Tram will be this amazing!
Also, how did you get this footage? Did you have to request permission to put a go-pro in the window of the front compartment?
Thanks for the comment! I got permission to enter the driving compartment with the motorman. I used a standard video camera on a tripod. But if I was to do it again I would probably use a GoPro.

Went on Panama City's new metro. Same idea but NO AT-GRADE crossings! Way better than Calgay's and Edmonton's. Mind you, Edmonton's is much better than Calgary's because more of it is underground and fewer at-grade crossings.
