I bought a Lux H2, as our second car, for all the features you get for the price, it’s a great deal. I have owned Audi, BMW and currently drive a MBenz E240 wagon, the paint finish and build quality of the Haval is as good as anything out there. Love the styling and great looks of the H2. We did a trip to Sydney recently 5.5 hrs. Was fantastic, the handling and ride are great, those big 18 inch rims and independent suspension soak up the bumps, cruise control worked well and seats very comfy. I actually like the fact that you hear the engine at times and I think the odd bit of turbo whine you hear is actually quite cool! Turbo lag is noticeable at times but if you run premium fuel, this reduces it. Loved the auto headlights in the Sydney tunnels. Loving this car and the price I paid! People who say it’s made in China are silly, they need to look where their i Pads and i Phones are made....as is probably most of the stuff in their houses! Great value for money, buy one now before the price goes up!
Heard of Geely but not much. I see an ex Volvo designer is now working for them so as I said about Haval, looking at the general quality of the vehicle, the other mainstream manufacturers should be worried!
You fear is unfounded. It is an old stereotype had it been fifteen to twenty years ago it may be true. GWM (Haval) has partner with the likes of numerous companies to ensure their cars/SUV are up to world standards. Personally I think they are going in the right direction. Anyone recall when Hyundai first exported their cars to the Western world. It was a disaster. The Pony/Excel was horrible. My friend's parent had a Pony...boy did they regretted...lol. The H2 is so much better considering it is Haval's first try.... www.lubricants.total.com/great-wall-motors-and-total-lubrifiants www.thedrive.com/tech/18743/mini-and-great-wall-motors-team-up-for-joint-venture-in-china drivetribe.com/p/bmw-set-to-partner-with-great-wall-EainKOz7QraDi5647bRAUA?iid=T-r5CiH0Rg27wVUNNiQY3Q
I have my Haval H2 1.5 T (6speed manual) for just over a year now. I live in Namibia and in this harsh conditions it is surprisingly doing well. The colour does not fade and it's high ground clearance is a bonus when I drive on our gravel roads. I did a bit over 1000km of rough, gravel road and it was a pleasure driving this Haval H2. It is definitely worth its price. Brandnew it was N$250 000.00 (US$17750.00)
We’ve owned our H2 Lux for a year now and we are loving it. I actually look forward to any long trips. All I can say is, if you are on a tight budget but are keen on a SUV, do yourself a favour, book a test drive and go have a look. At current prices this car is exceptional value.
kanishq ruhil in Chile there's a lot of those with over 50 thousand kilometers in it n still looking as good as new it's surprising how well this brand is producing cars.
9l/100km is just unacceptable. They really have a done a nice job on the car, it looks almost as current as cars from more known brands, and when it come to options s these are quite impressive too, but still that kind of engine to performance to fuel consumption is just too far off.
Two mistakes in this video, 1) That H2 is Galaxy Blue not Atlantic Blue which my car is, 2) H2 is available in front wheel drive and four wheel drive, which my car is also
Does it come with indicators? Just wondering because i saw no indication when the car was being driven around the roundabout. Or at exiting the roundabout. Or is it because she's too lazy to use them?
Maybe its just me, but I am not ready for chinese cars yet. I just cant help thinking about the old saying "there is always someone, who can make it worse and sell it cheaper". Longevity, maintenance, reliability, resale, safety are all big question marks to me. I know. Not that many years ago, you could say the same about korean cars. And with China being the largest car market in the world, surely one day they will get there. But at that time the price will also be fairly similar to that of other carmakers. As are korean cars today.
fundiver198 + I feel the same way. Just going through youtube looking for only Kia reviews cos their cars are renown to be superbly reliable. But I've never heard of a chinese car brand let alone convinced how good they are. They've only just entered the market so who knows? I'll maybe consider them in a decade or two or less.
If I were to choose between the 1.5l turbo Haval and the 1.0l MG, I’d go MG all day! They both suck but the MG ZS has just a little more get up and go, not much but enough to know difference!
Dinesh Kumar Bro, you people have so many great cars already. Ford Endeavour, Tata Hexa, Mahindra Scorpio and XUV, and Hyundai Creta etc.I dont think people will buy this instead of buying what you people already have.
★ Low price means low quality. After getting showered in monsoon season, my haval showed her real color as a chinese products, rusty- the coclor of shit. almost every part of this car get rusty. and nowadays rain water leaks inside !!! I think chinese are making this world dystopia.
$25'000+$1000 = $26,000.... for that price Mitsubishi Outlander is a far better choice which is well known brand world wide, has 7 seats, better looks, better interior design, Apple car play and Android Auto, good music system far better resale value, 5 star NCAP and its not chinese....
An Outlander costs $25 000?! Personally prefer the looks of the H2, the Outlander looked great when it still had the Lancer type front grill, they shouldn’t have changed that!

James Feuilherade H2 might be good but geely boyue is one of the best from China
Heard of Geely but not much. I see an ex Volvo designer is now working for them so as I said about Haval, looking at the general quality of the vehicle, the other mainstream manufacturers should be worried!
James Feuilherade Not only is it made in China, its designed in China. Good luck, you'll need it

Well “Konrod”.....we’ve had our Haval H2 for a year now, and we love it! So looks like we didn’t “need that luck”!

NZ$250K? That's in the hyper car pricing range.

Yeah, revisited this review, we’ve owned our H2 for just over a year now, I agree, Simone did an accurate and slick assessment here.
matching outfit with car is brilliant 🐼
Very polished delivery... like the informative content without feeling rushed
Thanks Noodles 🙂
This woman is perfect for the job...Great review...I think I've made up my mind now on which car to get
Shouldnt have someone this beautiful and well spoken presenting...I couldnt concentrate on the car lol.
1:00 how much do you have to pay to get a full set of dust caps for the valves?
I like Simon, she has some subtle humour how she presents the review
Something most car reviews are devoid of

Wow I just bought this exact SUV, same rejo. now im very satisfied as its been christen by a beautiful lady.

Intravenous17
Do you advice me to buy this car ?
I think that you have one
Oooohhhh I'm still waiting for the AZERA 2018 .. don't you have azera in Australia or what...??!!
We actually don't. Looks like a luxury Hyundai right? We did do a review of the Genesis a while back.
Does it come with indicators? Just wondering because i saw no indication when the car was being driven around the roundabout. Or at exiting the roundabout. Or is it because she's too lazy to use them?
How high are they? Height
Manual gear or auto?
Are you guys reviewing the new Honda CR V VTI LX soon, if you aren't, please do.
Thanks for the request Johnathan. Will pass it on to the producer and hopefully we will do one soon.
i wish this car comes with u!
She's says the H2 is only offered in front wheel drive, then why is my H2 4WD?
Intravenous17 the hamster balls powering the rear wheels don't count obviously
BTW nice top you got there from haval with the car ;)
could you please review Mazda
Sure! We have done reviews for a few Mazdas in the past with more to come for sure.
...guess how interested by the Haval I am :)
improve grammar please
Wrong, the H2 comes in 4WD as well.

Thats the point! Buy now before they become as much as the other brands! Go test drive one, you will be pleasantly surprised!
I'm ready. Take my money..
fundiver198 except korean cars are still garbage. Look at the stinger. Its a clone, that has a bouncy ass and wallows in corners. No thx
fundiver198 + I feel the same way.
Just going through youtube looking for only Kia reviews cos their cars are renown to be superbly reliable. But I've never heard of a chinese car brand let alone convinced how good they are. They've only just entered the market so who knows? I'll maybe consider them in a decade or two or less.
fundiver198 remember about Koreans cars... Just that.
Please may you review the MG ZS
If I were to choose between the 1.5l turbo Haval and the 1.0l MG, I’d go MG all day! They both suck but the MG ZS has just a little more get up and go, not much but enough to know difference!
I kept asking myself about the hazard button
Hey gorgeous how are you? I m the first viewer. Well I would like to know is it really launching in India? If yes when exactly?
Dinesh Kumar Bro, you people have so many great cars already. Ford Endeavour, Tata Hexa, Mahindra Scorpio and XUV, and Hyundai Creta etc.I dont think people will buy this instead of buying what you people already have.
is this a flop in aus?
It will be Samuel, they’re gutless! The H9 2.0l might be okay but never test drove it!
How long can this car be reliable?
Well had our a year now...still perfect, still looks brand new...so to me, if looked after, should be fine.
great....
Probably the only Chinese car brand that's safe to buy. But still...
💗💗👍👍👍
🔥💯
Looks is your favourite? Don't need to watch more then.
Blue.143
It's called "Havil" 🤣

James Feuilherade yea.... just bought one with 7 seats for $28,400 driveway that includes transfer fee, stamp duty, one year rego, floor mats....
Sounds good! But still happy with my Haval for $24990 with 5 year warranty and 5 year road assist, with mats also😁.
James Feuilherade we are sure the paint will peel like an onion and the plastics will all break soon enough
Well Konrad...we’ve had our H2 for over a year now...still waiting....everything works...no broken plastic....still looks brand new....
Absolutely gutless vehicle! Anyone who test drives this on highway will say “hell no”!
re-test this car today.....terrible build quality.
shame, i was hoping for a good review on the Haval but this was boring! sorry
