Any plans to do an intro video that explains CanOpen? I understand it's a higher layer protocol on top of canbus that defines a master/slave topology. I have an STM32 slave that I'd like to have broadcast data, once the master STM32 has enabled it.. so I'd like to create a DBC file such that any monitoring device (ex. CanKing/CANopenMagic/WireShark Peak USB) can decode it into human-readable data!
Hey Ben, thanks for the request. Yes, we're working on some Dev Blogs highlighting CANopen use. You can keep an eye out for those here: www.kvaser.com/developer/developer-blog/. And we will look at getting those into a video format. Thanks!
With all respect, this is poor explanation!
