Great videos. I am awaiting the shipment of my first personal rise garden. Can you use different empty pods that are less expensive that work in this system?
Do you just pluck a few leaves at a time for a daily salad? What did you do with all that dill you harvested last week? Did you dry and store most of it?
For some leafy greens I cut a few leaves for a daily salad and assembled my own mix, or used them for sandwiches. In regards to the dill, I did dry most of it.
Love it!!!!! So helpful
Thank you!

You don’t have the foil wrappers on the top of each of the plant substrates. Do you have any mold problems?

Root trimming? Ever done this? Could this help with large root systems like in tomato?
Hi. I’ve only trimmed a bit if roots get near the drain. I’ll have to look into this more. Thank you!
What brand of seed plugs at you using? Some look different, Just curious
I use Rise Gardens seed pods, Root Riot, and Rapid Rooters. I’ve tried rock wool, put do not prefer it for this set up.
@@imaplantdaddy Why do you not like rockwool for this setup?
@@BBsWatching Hi. Rockwool sheds small particles which could clog pump and it isn't biodegradable.
