Great Video, have not tried out because my garage is hot right now.
Something that might help a newb.
-when you download files, you need to unzip them (I use 7zip) and then when downloaded, click on the 103-104-105 file and download like an app. That will open up the 16 files.
I didn't see it under any of the other 2 files.
And mine didn't have a memory corrupted warning, but it does show 1.07.

@@RichyCosa Then you have to find a repair shop that can resolder smd chips on the mainboard of the synth.
I found one here in Berlin and it worked fine. You can also upgrade to a new blue display.

@@RichyCosa Normal. Do a Factory Reset from the System Menu after updating. I should have included that.
Did this nine years ago, after a professional resoldered aka reflowed the smd chips. Who knows how many repairable JX 305 were thrown away or sold for parts, because people didn't know how to repair it?
I have 1.06 . Is there a good reason to update to 107? Cannot find any release notes regarding 107 unfortunately...thx

I’ve repaired several of these. Parts are from other synths. Knobs from AliExpress
