No words !!! I promised to see the 327 videos you have on UA-cam, because I think they are fantastic and they teach in a simple way, a thousand thanks !!!!!
I have been working with polymer , silver, beads, and wire for roughly 17-18 years... and dabbled in MANY other things like Resin, etc. And ive also looked, and looked at people's videos of making faux stones as they are a huge love of mine. And i have to say... you faux stones look Great, but your malachite is PROBABLY one if not THE best I'vE seen! It really IS AMAZING
Mo Clay your welcome! I've had time to look at your other faux stones, and they're unbelievable... ive see terrible, all the way to the most complicated. You have honestly been able to come up with the most realistic stones ive seen. And the funny thing is your methods are NOT complicated! You found a very natural way that made sense and it worked! Just amazing.. i dont know you, so i don't have any reason to butter you up! Lol Im blown away.. IF you didn't tell anyone they were clay, I honestly don't think ANYONE would be able to tell that they weren't the real thing by just appearance!
Thanks for referring this video to me, I really love the look you got especially after sanding it. I never would have thought of this, but then I am really new to polymer clay. I need to invest in some types of wires soon so I can try this out.
Genia!!! Genia !!!!
You are AMAZING!! You are so clever, so resourceful, and produce such beautiful creations. I am in awe...every time I watch you. I see a few videos of others..all good, and basically teaching techniques, but no one leaves me with this smile on my face, and absolute wonder of the things you give life to. Yes, absolutely, amazing!!
Thank you for the tutorial! I love these tutorials that recreate stones c: I gotta get my hands on some of that sandpaper since it really did wonders! c:
Cabochon: Waaaaaaaaoooooo......Music: Waaaaaaooooo.....Channel: Waaaaaaaaaaooooo.....Video: Wwwwaaaaaaaaooooooo......Malachiteeeee: SUPER STAR.....Congratulations From MEXICO........
You're welcome Monica! :D I really liked the tool you made to create the loops in the wire! Once I made one to create spirals...was a few years ago... is still working and is very useful (is one of my favourite!)
That is so awesome!! I love how you made the wire wrap for it too. I am going to have to try both of those but I will probably use blue instead of green only because blue is my favorite color :D - Heidi
Thank you! Your tutorials are incredibly inspiring! What green would it be in Sculpy? Or, could I blend some colors to arrive at the approximate shade? Do you ever use a pasta machine for blending your colors? Liza
Hi Mina87! I couldn't answer on your post. I don't know why but youtube doesn't let me. You ask me: "I wounder what kind of green color your using? The name of the color and brand?" I used Premo Green but if you have Fimo, you must use Fimo classic N.05. Thank you for visiting!
Mo Clay thanx I found polymer clay yesterday and I will apply your amazing videos but I didn't find the clear one I hope I can find it thanx you're amazing...
To polish this malachite, it took me about 10 minutes (may be less). After sanding is only smooth but not shiny. You have to rub it well with the denim, and you'll see that you can! :-)
Beautiful pendant like the way how do you come up with b frill wire, I question whether you szlifowałaś it with sandpaper? whether it was an ordinary cloth which zanurzałaś in the water? because then polerowałaś jeans and the effect is great
Hi Anastaja, I don't know if i understood :-) but i try to answer. Then, I've smoothed (szlifowa - gładki) the piece with sandpaper. First with sandpaper n.600, after n.800 and n.1000. The fabric i use is Jeans (Denim) and is not wet
sorry for the delay in the answer. You can always use soap. It is used to slide the sandpaper better over the surface and to prevent dust from sticking to the sandpaper.
Grazie!
Konstantina Koutsoulianou Hi Kostantina! :-) I was born in Panama, I lived all my childhood and youth in Argentina, my parents are Italian and now I live in Italy. Half of my days I am in Florence and the other half in Turin where live my daughter, my son in law and my little grandson :-) Hugs!!!
Wow that's a full life adventure, very nice :-) I've been in Italy twice, one in Venice and one in Roma, I love Italy, there is a saying for yours and our people and of course you have heard of it, it's "Una fatsa una ratsa!" Hehe :-) Thanks for sharing with me I really appreciate it! :-)
Yo he comprado otras cosas y realmente no tuve nunca problemas. :-) Bueno ojalá lo consigas!! Abrazote!
hello i love your work. can you help me. i learnd how to make stamps but i want to draw tribal images to use on pendants and clay but i dont know how to draw tribal that small..please help me
Well, I don't know how to help you. May be you can make your image as I did the lion in the fountain... ua-cam.com/video/h4NfNtv6PJc/v-deo.html You make geometric shapes and after you mould it

I know it could be hard to find the right music for videos.... I really appreciate your talent and the desire to share them with us... thanks so much for your time and effort. btw I love your videos.
Ottimo lavoro.
I certainly don't hope you try to sell this off to people that are wanting REAL malachite !!! If not, nice piece, but if you are you are a complete and total disgrace if you don't tell them upfront it's fake.

Monica this is beautiful but I never have any luck when I try and sand things no matter how hard I try???

Bello bello bello, colori favolosi!!!!!!

How do you know when to use soap and when to just use water to sand? And do you ever dry sand?
sorry for the delay in the answer. You can always use soap. It is used to slide the sandpaper better over the surface and to prevent dust from sticking to the sandpaper.
sei sempre un Mito!
Grazie Jacqueline :-)

if you use air dry clay like iclay or jumping clay you can do this malachite, but for shining you must varnish.
lovely vidéo, can use air dry clay to do this beautiful gem
I think it's possible, but I never did it. You must have to try
Cool
Obrigado!!!...
Can you make sapphire please
transparent stones are difficult to be done with polymer clay because clay is not transparent ... is only translucent
